GH Spoilers: Nina Will Be Living On Borrowed Time — And Wondering Whether Ned Needs to Go on Living

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) had just made up with his wife, Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero), and now he’s in a coma potentially fighting for his life. If he wakes up, he probably won’t hesitate to tattle to everyone about what he learned just before he was rendered unconscious. Learning that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) was the real whistleblower might have delighted Ned, but we may never know. At this point, his family is just hoping he lives to see another day. Nina, on the other hand, might be praying for the exact opposite.

The deeper that she digs this hole to bury herself in, the more vicious and monstrous Nina becomes — and she’s not very aware of it. Perhaps she’ll figure it out while she’s waiting on pins and needles every day for Ned to wake up and bring her world crashing down around her.

When Ned stumbled upon Nina and Martin ‘Marty’ Grey (Michael E. Knight) at the Metro Court arguing over case details, Marty was busy assuring Nina that everything would work out. That’s easy for him to say, since it’s not his whole life on the line.

If Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) learns what Nina has done, their engagement will be kaput! Moreover, if Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) finds out, too, Nina will absolutely never know her daughter.

She has a lot riding on this secret and needs it to stay under wraps. But how is she supposed to ensure that Ned doesn’t squeal as soon as he’s able to?

GH Spoilers – Hint Olivia Quartermaine Will Want Answers

Hearing Olivia say that she didn’t believe Ned was guilty of turning Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) in to the SEC was all he needed to hear to forgive her. But they knew it would be harder to get Drew and Carly to come around.

Their best bet would be offering up the real guilty party, and that might have seemed easy as pie when the truth fell into Ned’s lap. But then he took a fall, quite literally.

With Ned unavailable for questioning, Nina will be mulling over her options and wondering if there is any way to keep him quiet. Will she feel forced to take more drastic measures — perhaps the kind that makes sure Ned never wakes up?

It’s ironic that when Nina first coupled up with Sonny, others warned her that he wasn’t like the guy she knew in Nixon Falls. This was no gentle soul. Sonny was a force to be reckoned with — and never crossed. He kills people! Lots of them!

Nina has spent all of this time with Sonny while ignoring the darker part of his life. She figured the less she knew, the better, and he agreed. But now she’s the dark force in their relationship.
