Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) certainly isn’t thrilled by the news, and we can bet she’ll be itching to figure out a way to make sure it doesn’t happen. But the only person Nina really cares about right now is Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen).
As she counts down the days until Willow’s transplant and recovery are a thing of the past, she can only hope that they’ll come out of this stronger — and that she might have her daughter by her side when she takes those vows.
Michael is no fan of Nina, and that’s putting it mildly. After all, this woman has caused his family more than enough pain and heartache. Still, his father seems to have fallen head over heels for the Crimson editor, and Michael can’t help but feel a sense of betrayal.
Was Michael really supposed to praise the woman who brought so much trouble into their lives? He thinks not. But then again, he knows that his feelings toward Nina are clouded by his own biases.
He can’t let his personal dislike of her interfere with what’s really important: protecting Willow. So for now, Michael will keep his thoughts to himself, but he’s watching Nina like a hawk and she further descends upon his family.
Willow might be determined to take the high road and accept Sonny and Nina’s engagement. She could be feeling a little feisty about it, but she’s not going to let Nina get the best of her.
Instead, she will wish them both well and hopes they continue to support her and Michael in the same way. That’s a fair assessment in her mind, and she hopes to impart the same sense of justice upon Michael. But as much as Willow is hoping to walk into the future with her husband and children, she just cannot focus on much else about her future.
So any inquiries from Nina about her being there on her wedding day are going to feel laughable to Willow, like she’s asking too much.
It’s a well-understood fact that in love and war, all is fair. However, sometimes the lines between the two become blurred.
As Sonny and Nina prepare to tie the knot, Carly and Drew will be chomping at the bit to figure out who ratted them out to the SEC.
It might come down to the wire, but who are we kidding — we all want to see Carly march into the chapel and stop the wedding as she calls Nina out for the lying coward that she is, right?
Okay, maybe not all of us. But yay for Team Carly! Rumor has it this wedding is never going to happen — not if Carly has something to say about it.
However, Willow might have something to say about that, and it could be a turning point in her relationship with her mother, and her mother-in-law. Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers just around the corner.
