GH Spoilers: Nina Learns What Sonny & Ava Are Hiding, As SEC Secret Revealed

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease there may be trouble in paradise where Sina is concerned. Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is hiding a major secret from Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard); she was the one who reached out to SEC about Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).

Meanwhile, Sonny knows about Ava Jerome (Maura West) and her little secret about “killing” Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) and covering it all up. Plus, the mob boss is setting up Mason Gatlin (Nathayael Grey) on the down low to ensure to keep both Ava and Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) safe.

Could both rounds of lies come out at the same time? Will this be the end of Sonny and Nina’s relationship as fans know it?

Nina’s lie is far greater than Sonny and Ava’s; however, Reeves will be upset she wasn’t in the loop, at least for Avery’s sake.

After all, she’s about to become the young girl’s stepmom, she should know if she’s in danger and if her nanny is unhinged.

Still, Nina may be more upset at Ava for not telling her about what happened to Nik, her involvement, and just how dangerous Mason, and technically Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) is.

After all, Reeves spends a lot of time with Ava and she may feel as if Jerome should’ve confided in her, considering all she knows about Nina.

GH Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos’s Logic Trumps Nina Reeves’s Needs

At the end of the day, the only reason Sonny hasn’t filled Nina in is to keep her safe. While this involves family business and not mob business, the fewer people that know about Corinthos’s plan, the better.

When the truth comes out, Sonny may make it clear that he didn’t tell Nina what was going on to keep the circle small and everyone safe.

If both secrets are revealed around the same time, there may be a chance for both Sonny and Nina to patch things up. A lie, for a lie, right? But if one person comes forward before the other, which may likely be Corinthos, then all may be lost when the “other” secret comes out.
