GH Spoilers: Nina Is Desperate To Silence Ned For Good — Who Can Help Her?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is putting himself out in the interest of helping Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) out. Inviting Ned Quartermaine/Eddie Maine (Wally Kurth) to stay with him long-term sends chills up Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) spine.

This poses a serious threat to her plan. Nina needs the truth about what she did — reporting Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) to the SEC for insider trading — to stay buried. But having Eddie around could risk jarring his memory about who Nina is and what happened just before his poolside spill at the Metro Court. Nina is going to know pretty quickly that she can’t share her personal space with this guy. She has to put an end to Ned, but Nina doesn’t have those kinds of connections. Who can help her make sure he never talks again?

General Hospital Spoilers — Sonny Corinthos Would Require Some Serious Manipulation

Sonny is the biggest reason Nina can’t let her secret get out. If he knew what she did to Carly, he would be done with her for good. Their engagement would be over; there would be no white wedding. Add to that, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) would never speak to her again. Nina has a lot riding on this secret staying a secret, but that doesn’t mean she couldn’t manipulate Sonny into getting what she wants.

If the truth comes out about her being present when Ned took his fall, Sonny is going to want answers. Nina could likely make up any story she wanted about Ned — painting herself as a victim in the process — and Sonny is likely to believe her. Conveniently, Eddie cannot defend himself. But that doesn’t mean Sonny would have a hard time believing that Ned did anything sinister to his fiancé. Could Nina get her beau riled up enough to do Ned in, or at the very least, kick him out?

GH Spoilers – Tease Valentin Cassadine Is Busy

If Sonny isn’t the best man for the job, then Nina‘s ex-husband, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is. But Valentin is wrapped up in Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) drama; he’s going to be busy for a while. In fact, he’s going to be out of the country for the rest of the summer if the rumors are true. Hopping on a flight soon with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), Laura, and Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom), saving Nina from herself isn’t on Valentine’s radar right now.

General Hospital Spoilers — Ava Jerome Says No Way

This just leaves one person in Nina’s arsenal who could possibly help her out. Ava Jerome (Maura West) still has connections in the mob world. In fact, some would say Ava is still acting as though she belongs in that underground universe.

Little does Nina know, Ava has no problem taking a man out on her own. But when she goes to her in hopes of finding friendship and support for taking Ned out, Ava is going to turn her down. All of this time, Ava has been encouraging Nina to fess up and tell Sonny the truth, citing Nina really needs to stop digging the hole she’s in even deeper. Ava is not about to throw herself into that pit with Nina. Without Sonny, Valentin, or Ava on her side, how is Nina possibly going to dispose of Eddie?
