GH Spoilers: Nina Has Liesl Do Her Bidding — Will Sonny See Through Her?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) has just opened up to her aunt, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), about the hell Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) has been putting her through. Try as she may, Nina just can’t seem to let go of the anger she feels toward Carly. She wants vengeance. She wants justice. She wants to feel like Carly is held accountable for her actions, but it appears that everyone else is comfortable with letting her most recent indiscretion slide.

Carly kept it a secret from everyone that Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) was Nina’s daughter, and she intended to do so forever — just as Harmony Miller (Inga Candranel) had. If everyone can agree that Harmony was a self-serving liar, why don’t they feel the same was about Carly? Liesl knows her niece well, and sees the pain she is in — and she intends to do something about it.

General Hospital Spoilers — Nina Can’t Forsake Her Chances With Willow

Nina knows that seeking revenge on Carly is not wise if she hopes to have any shot at a relationship down the road with her surprise daughter, Willow. She needs to be on her very best behavior and say all the right things if she ever hopes to have Willow see her in a different light. Willow won’t think Nina has changed at all if she sees her openly attacking her soon-to-be mother-in-law, whom she trusts much more than Nina. This isn’t the time to ruffle her feathers, nor Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell), who has also chosen to forgive his mother and sweep her shifty behavior under the rug.

GH Spoilers Hint She Also Has to Protect Her Relationship with Sonny

Nina also has to keep Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) feelings in mind. Just before she and Sonny found out Willow was battling cancer and suddenly hospitalized, he was pushing for Nina to stop contributing to any of the family infighting. He’s already lost his son, Michael, and he doesn’t want to fan the flames of anger and distrust between them any more.

Sonny is hopeful that he will get to be back in his son’s and grandchildren’s lives soon, and Nina knows she has to do her part in making that happen, or she could risk losing Sonny in the mix. Furthermore, she knows Sonny cares deeply for Carly, regardless of how well they get along or what she’s done. He would never tolerate Nina retaliating against her in a way that might take her out of his children’s lives.

General Hospital Spoilers — Liesl Has Nothing to Lose

Of course, Liesl doesn’t have to worry about that. She is more than happy to carry this torch for Nina and seek out whatever secrets Carly is hiding. She already has a starting point by understanding that Carly and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) are clearly hiding their relationship. Figuring out why won’t be very difficult for Liesl, who is a mastermind at unearthing people’s secrets and using them against them.

When she discovers that Carly and Drew are on the hook for insider trading, she won’t hesitate to report them to the SEC. That is, after she shares this news with her niece,who green lights it.
