GH Spoilers: Nina Confesses Her Bombshell Sins — And Sonny Needs Space

General Hospital (GH) spoilers spill Nina Reeves Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) is about to crumble under pressure, and it will force her to come out with the secret she’s been keeping from everyone she loves for months.

Nina was barely hanging on while living under Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) thumb. Now that Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) has asked for her to spy on Michael and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and their plans with ELQ in exchange for his silence, she’s nearing the brink. Soon, Nina will decide she can’t take it anymore and doesn’t want to bend to Michael or Ned’s will.

Instead, she will tell Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) the truth about what she has done. Will he be able to overlook her attack on Drew and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright)?

If so, will he go so far as to help her fix this disaster before it costs her Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) and her grandchildren?

Ned is in a tough spot with ELQ. He knows he needs — or wants — to be back at the helm. He regrets giving his blessing for Michael to have so much power within the company. Of course, that’s easy to say now in hindsight.

If Ned is going to get the upper hand against Drew and Michael, he’ll need someone else to feed him insider intel on what they have up their sleeves — knowing it’s likely going to push him further out of the equation.

Understanding that Nina is desperate to keep her family, Ned was quick to play on that and blackmail her for his own gain. But Nina isn’t as strong as he pegged her to be.

She has already been struggling to stomach Michael’s wrath. Rumor has it Ned’s blackmail agenda will push her to the brink where she will feel forced to confess her sins to Sonny.

GH Spoilers – Report Nina Reees Tells The Truth

Telling Sonny the truth sounds simple enough, but getting those words out and knowing they could cost her the marriage of her dreams and the family she always wanted and only just got makes it far less simple.

Nina may try to dance around the truth at first, but Sonny is an impatient — and busy — man who will request that she get to the point.

He may go out of his way to remind her that there is nothing she can do to push him away so badly that he wouldn’t be able to forgive her.

He’s got another thing coming if he truly believes that, and he may have to go back on his word after he finds out the type of person his wife actually is.

Sonny has been excitedly planning to spend Christmas Eve with Michael, Willow, and the grandkids. He can probably tell how hesitant Nina has been to jump on board with the same enthusiasm.

Lately, she’s been unsure of herself and increasingly anxious about Michael’s approval over every little thing. Sonny was well aware of the tension between them at the Metro Court last week, but they swept it under the rug.

Now, it’s all going to make sense — and make history out of their Christmas plans. Will Nina be shacked up with Nina and full of regret as she spends the holiday alone?
