GH Spoilers: Nina Confesses And Seeks Absolution-From Cyrus!

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease in this week’s Sneak Peek, Nina Reeves Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) feels guilty, confesses, and seeks absolution from a priest.

What she doesn’t know is that the “priest” who’s hidden behind the partition in the confessional is Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober)!

General Hospital Spoilers – Overwhelming Guilt

Earlier, things had gotten to Nina when she was in the hospital at the story reading for the children, and had gone to the hospital chapel to pray.

She started feeling guilty and had much regret over the things that had happened after her impulsive act, turning Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) into the SEC.

Her guilt and the snowballing effects of being found out by Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) have overwhelmed her.

So now she goes to confess to the priest in the confessional booth in the chapel, but doesn’t know it’s not the priest behind the partition.

She had asked the priest (uncredited actor) about confessing, and he said he’d be glad to help her after he got done with something.

GH Spoilers – Cyrus Renault Was Eavesdropping

What she doesn’t know is that Cyrus was eavesdropping when she was talking to the priest, and he’s the one in the confessional who she’s telling everything to.

Nina tells him she’s never come to confession before, but something has happened and she needs help-not knowing where else to turn-she hopes it’s ok that she’s there.

Cyrus tells her God is eager to help all His children, and to go on-she says she acted out of spite and it’s spiraling out of control.

She knew it was wrong when she did it, but had no idea that it would hurt so many people this much-Cyrus asks who she hurt, looking concerned.

Nina says they were people who might not be saints, but they didn’t deserve what happened to them because of her.

General Hospital Spoilers – Cyrus Renault Asks Details

Cyrus asks more details as to who the people were-friends, family; Nina asks if it matters, and Cyrus says to truly advise her he needs more information.

He then tells her to let it go, and open her heart, God wants to hear everything. Nina looks uncomfortable, but sighs in resignation and tells Cyrus yes.

Nina will be giving all the gory details to someone she thinks is the hospital chapel priest, but it’s really Cyrus Renault-who’s doing a good job of “being concerned”.

The big question is, what will Cyrus do with the information he’s learned-will he also blackmail Nina or others, or try to fix the situation?
