GH Spoilers: Nikolas Is Hiding Out — And Only One Thing Will Bring Him Home

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) is indeed alive and well. His recovery after being bludgeoned over the head by Ava Jerome (Maura West) may not have been swift, but rumors are swirling that he’s already back on his feet. Is he hiding out in Russia like Laura Collins (Genie Francis) suspects? Perhaps she and Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) are likely to find out soon as they journey to the war-torn nation in hopes of finding him holed up at one of many Cassadine properties speckling the globe. What will be harder than tracking Nikolas down is actually getting him to agree to come home.

Not much good is waiting for him on American soil, where he will most likely be arrested for holding Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) hostage at Wyndemere. But one thing could get him to reconsider his extended hiatus from Port Charles — his son, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez).

As Kevin and Laura make their way to Chechnya with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Yuri (Cyrus Hobbi) having their backs, they’ll all be stunned to find what’s lurking at the remote property Valentin hasn’t traveled to for decades.

Is it possible that Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) left Spencer the deed to this property because that is where his father is hiding from the authorities? Would Victor really have protected Nikolas at that point, and if so, does that mean Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) was working for Victor? If he was, who is ordering him around now?

Laura may be delighted to see her son again, but that doesn’t mean she’s going to succeed in bringing him home.

Does Nikolas really need her to travel all the way to this controversial and unsafe place just to tell him about his new baby boy, Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) — stressing how much he needs his father? Nikolas already knows that, but as usual, he prioritizes himself over his children.

Nikolas might not have a connection with Ace yet, but he does genuinely care about Spencer, and the last thing he would want is to see Spencer get caught up in a web of deceit as part of some trap his Uncle Victor had set for him. Intent on having the last laugh from the grave, the guy planted his seeds well.

Now, if Spencer goes to the authorities with the manufactured evidence Victor left behind, he could end up in hot water and looking like he cooked the proof against Esme himself.
