GH Spoilers: Nikolas Didn’t Kill Austin! Ryan Did It For Ava

General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) has been Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) prime suspect in the murder of Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) — but more so in the case of who has been stalking and tormenting her.

Whoever it is, they’ve got her shaken. Ava is afraid to sleep at night and knows there is no telling how powerful the person she’s dealing with might be.

She underestimated the situation when Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) was at play. Is that happening again?

Has she merely convinced herself this stalker is no real threat, and that it’s just her ex trying to get under her skin, just so she can fool herself into relaxing and not worrying about it? It doesn’t look like it’s working.

Rumor has it there may be someone far more dismissed behind Austin’s death who is now taunting Ava with the truth and hiding from view. Is Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) back — again?

General Hospital Spoilers — Nikolas Cassadine Isn’t Quite That Impulsive

Ava thinks Nikolas might have been driven to kill Austin out of spite for her. It certainly can’t be because he cared about her or wanted to avenge what Austin had done to her by keeping her in the dark, right?

Nikolas is a wanted man, and it’s been so important to him to stay out of prison that he has abandoned Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) and his baby boy, Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay).

So why would he come back and risk being captured by the authorities now just to help Ava — or stick it to her? We’d like to think Nikolas learned something the last time he ghosted everyone in his life, and we learned something, too: Nikolas comes first.

GH Spoilers – Say Ava Jerome Secretly Longs for Her Ex?

It’s possible that Ava’s preoccupation with Nikolas being the person who is targeting her could be due to her hoping he is. Maybe Ava misses the way things used to be and knows her life is lacking something without him in it.

If he’s the one tormenting her, that stands to reason she’s still on his mind and he still cares, right? That’s how she would justify it to herself anyway.

General Hospital Spoilers — Ryan Chamberlain Didn’t Die

The more likely scenario is that someone is acting on Ava’s behalf because they believe they know what is best for her. The last person to pull that kind of move was Ryan.

Could it be that he didn’t really die when Mac Scorpio (Jon Lindstrom) shot him, or that Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) found some way to protect his twin brother yet again by staging his death? If Ryan is back, it’s likely that he didn’t care for Ava shacking up with Austin.

That might have been his true motive in killing the doc, all the while disguising it as his love for her.
