General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate that Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) will soon ask Laura Collins (Genie Francis) for his support. Unfortunately, Nikolas may want Laura’s help in the upcoming custody battle brewing over Esme Prince’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) baby. Will Laura abandon Spencer to side with Nikolas?

General Hospital Spoilers – Laura Collins Has Been Spencer Cassadine’s Constant Caregiver

General Hospital spoilers reveal that Laura has been there throughout Spencer’s life. Laura was the one person who stood by Spencer when Nikolas faked his death and was gone for three years. Laura has tried to keep Spencer on the up and up instead of allowing him to spiral after his father’s disappearance. Laura was even there when Spencer was hurt on the ski slope and needed someone.

Nikolas has not put his son first in years. Spencer was in on the plot the first time Nikolas decided to play dead. Nikolas allowed his son to grieve for years the second time. Nikolas was only concerned about regaining his family fortune, disregarding his son’s needs. Nikolas will certainly see Spencer’s choice as nothing more than revenge.

GH Spoilers – Spencer Cassadine Wants That Baby

Spencer contacted Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) because he thinks his little brother or sister deserves much better than either of its parents. Esme and Nikolas are very much alike, and that baby needs someone to take care of it. Nikolas doesn’t know what it takes to be a father. Nikolas has lost all ability to thank about anyone but himself.

Esme can barely take care of herself. Esme is the most selfish person that Spencer has ever met. Spencer and Esme dated for some time. Spencer knows her better than anyone else in Port Charles. Even though Esme currently has amnesia, that does not make her a better person. Will Spencer be a better parent than Esme or Nikolas?

General Hospital Spoilers – Laura Collins Has Witnessed Nikolas Cassadine’s Parenting

Laura cannot help but admit how bad Nikolas is at parenting. After all, Laura has been there to pick up the pieces every time Nikolas messed up with his son. Laura knows that Nikolas is a horrible parent. Laura also knows how much Spencer has suffered at the hands of his father. How could Laura possibly wish Nikolas on this innocent child?

If Laura knew that Nikolas had kept Esme prisoner at Wyndemere for weeks, she could undoubtedly want to protect them both. Laura also does not want to alienate her grandson. Nikolas knows the walls are closing in, and he could end up in prison anytime. Will Laura back Spencer in his bid for custody of his newborn sibling?
