The New Ned, aka Eddie Maine, aka Neddie (Wally Kurth), pops up at The Savoy and starts coming onto Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), something she doesn’t appreciate and neither does Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). However, Sonny can understand Ned’s plight just as he somehow understood Jason Quartermaine’s (Steve Burton), aka Jason Morgan’s plight nearly three decades ago.
Sonny asks Neddie to move in with him and Nina starts to become his friend. In fact, she encourages him to just leave town and leave his family behind. This sounds good to Neddie, and good to Nina too because she doesn’t want to think about what would happen if he gets his memory back and tells everyone that she is the one who ratted out Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) to the SEC.
First, Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) was surprised when Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) announced he was never getting married again. Now, every time she mentions his part in the creation of The Deceptor, he acts weird and Lucy wants to know what the heck is going on.
To that end, she enlists the help of her old pal Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) to help her get to the bottom of things. Felicia is just happy to be involved in another caper, but what will they find and does it all have to do with Marty’s three ex-wives?
While Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) has another crisis with Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl), Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) tries to spend some quality time with him. Life has been hectic since they got back from saving the world in Greenland. Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) also enjoy a date night.
Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Austin Holt (Roger Howarth) are frantic and Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) determination to go to Russia doesn’t help them. Hamilton Finn (Michael E. Knight) finds himself caught off guard while Carly finds herself with more bad news. It looks like her money troubles aren’t over on top of Drew going to jail.
