GH Spoilers: Ned’s Big Risk-Pretending To Be Eddie Maine To Expose Nina?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and rumors tease that Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) may be taking a big risk-alienating family and friends by pretending to only be Eddie Maine. Ned may be doing so in order to expose Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) as the one who blew the whistle on Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).

General Hospital Spoilers – Why Lie To His Family?

If indeed, Ned is faking in order to expose Nina, the big question is, why lie to his family-why doesn’t he just tell his mother, wife and daughter what he’s doing? It’s possible he wants to keep it a secret so Nina won’t go to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) who may not take it so kindly.

Ned should know Sonny would never hurt Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) or Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) but while he’s recovering he needs to keep the secret.

It’s probably not Sonny who would be the real danger to Ned, it would be Nina-how does he know she won’t try to finish him off while he’s all hooked up? Ned might feel he has to pretend and not let his loved ones in the loop for their protection and his!

GH Spoilers – The Spill In The Pool Wasn’t Anyone’s Fault

He knows that his spill in the pool wasn’t anyone’s fault, except perhaps his own mother Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) who chased everyone out, even the staff. Otherwise those wet towels wouldn’t have been in his path as he ran to tell his mother and Drew what he’d overheard.

Little does he know that Drew turned himself into the SEC anyway, after he knew that was the only way he could protect Carly and her family. As Ned continues to recover at GH, Drew will soon be remanded to Pentonville, his plea deal being rejected by a biased SEC judge.

General Hospital Spoilers – He’ll Tell The Truth-After Nina Reeves Is Dealt With

Oh, Ned will tell the truth and explain there’s a method to his madness after Nina is dealt with, and she will be dealt with!

As far as just remembering his stage name, he didn’t want his family to think he had total amnesia, just partial-enough for him to not be too concerned with ELQ.

Back when Ned was leading his secret life as Eddie, he could have cared less about the family business and didn’t want to be part of it.

It was only after he got older, and more like his grandfather-to Olivia and Brook Lynn’s chagrin-he cared about ELQ. This is the best way he knows to be able to complete his plan without endangering himself or his family.
