General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) and Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) have been happy as clams this past year, despite how 2022 started off for them on the heels of Ned’s affair with his ex-wife, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn).

However, all of that is about to change as Ned comes into information that he feels Olivia was hiding from him. He will feel betrayed, and she won’t think it compares at all to what he did to her. Is this going to dredge up old wounds? Will Ned and Olivia weather the storm caused by someone else’s relationship?

Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) are going to get quite cozy early in the New Year as they celebrate everything going their way. Carly was seemingly destitute and depressed for a hot minute before Drew embraced her with support and reinvigorated her life with hope and purpose. Of course, since then, she’s been up to no good betraying his trust and making it her goal to ensure he is unsuccessful in his pursuit of Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) birth parents.

Trouble is certainly on the rise for Drew and Carly as they get a bit too comfortable with their relationship status. They’ve been keeping a lid on their new union out of concern that Ned might make good on his threat to report them for insider trading. When he finds out they’re a couple, and that his own wife knew and hid it from him, all hell is going to break loose.

When Olivia started sniffing around after bumping into Drew and Carly in the park a while back, she quickly realized there was more than friendship to their canoodling. She assured Drew if there was anything ever going on, it would never leave her lips — especially to her husband. How is this discretion on her part going to come apart at the seams in a way that it reveals to Ned his Mrs. has been in on it the whole time and not only condoned hiding it from him but encouraged it?

When Ned finds out what Carly and Drew have been up to, and how Olivia has facilitated it, no one is going to be left unscathed. His marriage with Olivia will be up in the air once again as he is up in arms over her lie of omission.

It’s most likely Olivia will try to tell Ned she knew what he would do with that information, and will stress Carly is her best friend, but Ned isn’t going to hear it. This is going to leave Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) in a precarious place as well. Will Ned report Drew and Carly to the SEC out of spite?
