GH Spoilers: Montague Desperate After Gladys Confronted By Sonny, He’s Next?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and rumors tease that Dr. Damon Montague (Darin Toonder) is desperate after he hears Gladys Corbin’s (Bonnie Burroughs) been confronted by Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

He also knows Sonny and Selina Wu (Lydia Look) are friends-that’s two mobsters with dangerous reputations to worry about; could he be next in line for “handling”?

General Hospital Spoilers – Deep Dive Investigation

While Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) has launched a deep dive investigation on Montague, including medical complaints and financial records, Montague isn’t worried about that.

Records exist to be falsified and medical board reviews concealed; he’ll just leave Port Charles and start over somewhere else, like he likely has before.

When he hears about Sonny “handling” Gladys and her rumored disappearance, he becomes desperate-if Sonny will “handle” his own cousin, what about him?

He thinks he needs to beat it out of town before Selina and Sonny catch up to him-he hasn’t been threatened but he knows it could be coming.

Montague knows mob justice in a mobbed up town is much more severe than a prison sentence-not that he wants that, either.

GH Spoilers – Bravado Barely Believable

Montague, when confronted by Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) puts on a bravado barely believable as he “threatens” her by telling her she’d be seeing him around town.

He didn’t even try to get into the room where the police had just handcuffed her to the bed to inject her, after Dante showed up-Montague knows Dante is Sonny’s son.

As for Sasha, now uncuffed and being ready to be released-the right way, as Dante told her, she seemed to make a threat of her own.

She told him he could count on her seeing him “around town”-and as he knows she’s serious he’s not sure whether to expect her or a hit man.

He’s heard of what happened to Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) the time he won Selina’s whole pot and now the game’s shut down and she’s calling all debts in – including his!

General Hospital Spoilers – Should He Cut His Losses And Run?

Montague considers whether he should cut his losses and run, but he knows between the cops, possibly the Feds, and the mobsters, he’d be running forever.

Mobsters don’t worry about borders crossed and passports needed, they just fake their own-and then there’s the WSB that he could be running from as well.

He realizes that he’s lost control and the ones coming against him have taken it from him-all he has is the power of lies, and even that isn’t working any more.

Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide, no one to control-he should have known better than to gamble in a mobster’s game. With no viable options, Montague is desperate!
