General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Monday, October 23 tease stunned reactions, a friend talk, and a confrontation.

Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) is stunned, Mac Scorpio (John J. York) talks to a friend, and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has a confrontation.

General Hospital Spoilers – Stunned Reactions

Brook Lynn is having lunch with her mother, Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) at the Metro Court and she’s stunned at what Lois tells her.

Brook Lynn questions why does “Granny’s” opinion hold any weight with her? It sounds like after Lois and Tracy Quartermaine’s (Jane Elliot) recent discussion Lois might have seen Tracy’s point.

Mother and daughter will work things out over their meal and communication should continue. Lois is in the middle and trying to work things out, having learned Tracy is giving Deception Cosmetics to Brook Lynn.

GH Spoilers – Tracy Quartermaine Flexes Her Authority

Tracy flexes her authority, appearing in shock as she asks would you deny her that? Perhaps Lois isn’t totally believing what Tracy had told her about giving Brook Lynn the company she got her fired from!

One can’t blame Lois if she doesn’t believe Tracy’s spin on things, she’s got plenty of experience with her hateful ex mother in law.

She shouldn’t trust her implicitly-and probably no one else should either, this is the woman who denied her own father his heart medicine and let him collapse!

General Hospital Spoilers – Friends Talk

Also at the Metro Court, Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) and Mac catch up, and Mac asks Kevin how much he’s told him about Cody Bell (Josh Kelly).

Mac is likely realizing how Cody getting Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) out of Ferncliff is so much like him getting Cody’s mother out of Shadybrook.

Kevin and Mac have known each other and been friends for a long, long, time and Kevin likely remembers as well.

It’s possible Cody is reminding Mac of himself in quite a few ways-and he might again be wondering if he’s really his father in spite of the DNA test. It looks like soon, he may find out for sure.

General Hospital Spoilers – Cody Bell Has His Regrets

In Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) penthouse, Cody has his regrets as he’s talking it out with Sam.

He feels like he had his chance and threw it away-after talking about two different subjects with Dante earlier.

One was being honest with Mac about them being father and son, the other telling Sasha he didn’t want her to move to Texas.

Cody needs to be honest with himself and with both Mac and Sasha, he’d told Sasha the secret. Cody has just done so much bad stuff in his past he doesn’t feel worthy of being Mac’s son-but rescuing Sasha makes up for all that!

GH Spoilers – Dante Falconeri Talks To Sasha Gilmore

Meanwhile, Dante has gone to the apartment Sasha is packing up to move from and he gives her a talk. He tells Sasha it’s nothing she did, it’s what she’s about to do.

No one wants her to feel that she has to move to a new place with no friends and no job to get a fresh start.

Dante sounds like he’s going to tell Sasha what Cody should tell her himself, but is too down on himself to do. Hopefully he’ll be able to convince Sasha to stay in Port Charles.

General Hospital Spoilers – Portia Robinson Clashes With Cyrus Renault

At the hospital, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) clashes with Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). Talking about his “salvation experience” most likely, she says she doesn’t buy it and she never will!

Cyrus is making the rounds and will check in on Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) and likely talk to Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) as well.

Portia, as new co-chief of staff will likely try to get Cyrus banned from the hospital. Whether she’ll be able to, that’s another question entirely.

GH Spoilers – Confrontation

Elsewhere, another confrontation is taking place as Sonny confronts Selina Wu (Lydia Look). Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) is with him standing by as he tells Selina the next thing she says may have long-lasting repercussions!

Sonny is likely addressing the situation that allowed Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) and Damon Montague (Darin Toonder) to keep Sasha under their financial thumb.

He’s also likely to warn her about harassing the Ashford family over trying to buy The Savoy.
