GH Spoilers Monday, October 2: Insistent Mothers, Surprise Visits, Worried Fathers

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Monday, October 2 tease insistent mothers, surprise visits and worried fathers!

Laura Collins (Genie Francis) is insistent, Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) gets a surprise visit, and Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) a worried father.

General Hospital Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos Is On Top Of It

Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) seems to be on top of it as he checks in with someone on the phone-he confirms “that’s exactly what I wanted them to do”.

Sonny’s got a lot of irons in a lot of fires, and trying to elope with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) on his Puerto Rican island’s just one of them. He’s got other family matters to deal with as well, including a certain cousin with a gambling problem.

Plus he’s trying to find out who’s disloyal to him inside Pentonville Prison, which is what got Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) nearly killed. But Sonny is Sonny, and he’ll stay on top of it!

GH Spoilers – Insistent Mothers

Laura was beyond relieved to have proof that her missing son Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) is alive, but she won’t give up trying to see him. Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) will tell her that Nikolas doesn’t want to be found, but she’ll be insistent.

That money trail could lead them to her son and she barely missed him as it was, at the bank where they got the information. But she wants to see her son and touch him and try to convince him to step up and be a father to his sons so she’s not giving up.

General Hospital Spoilers – Surprise Visits

Meanwhile, Gladys gets a surprise visit that she’d rather not get as Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) picks her lock and comes in the door as she’s packing to run.

Gladys is indignant as she asks “Exactly what do you think you’re doing”? Sam’s stopping Gladys from running away to Puerto Rico and trying to avoid her from facing justice.

Gladys might think she’s getting one over on Sam, but she doesn’t know Sam knows all the tricks in the book. It’s pretty difficult to out-con a former con.

GH Spoilers – Worried Fathers

Elsewhere, Valentin confers with Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) about Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez).

Valentin is obviously worried and very serious as he impresses upon Martin that Charlotte’s future depends on their conversation today. Charlotte’s been having some major problems, it would appear-and many seem to be tied to tarot cards Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) sent her in boarding school.

Valentin has to do something and do it fast, and Martin should be concerned too-Charlotte’s mother is Martin’s niece, the still comatose Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan).

General Hospital Spoilers – Anna Devane Has Suspicions

Meanwhile, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) has her suspicions as she talks to Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper).

She tells Jordan desperate times call for desperate measures, and it looks like she’s trying to get some cyber forensic help to get the Metro Court security footage.

That of course could take a warrant to be issued but with Laura coming back Jordan should be more active in the PCPD as commissioner again.

Little does she know that it was Charlotte who was on the security footage, but if she is able to have it forensically retrieved, she might understand why Valentin scrubbed it! That’s one very seriously disturbed fifteen year old girl-but maybe it’s not being disturbed, it’s being controlled.

GH Spoilers – Sam McCall Confronts Gladys Corbin

Meanwhile, back at Gladys’ place-make that Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) Sam confronts Gladys.

Sam says she doesn’t think that’s going to end well for her, as Gladys throws out a bunch of lies when Sam knows the truth.

If she thinks she’s in the hot seat now, wait until someone else Gladys doesn’t expect walks in. Gladys should be shaking in her boots when she finds out cousin Sonny already knows all about it!

General Hospital Spoilers – A Threat?

At Ferncliff, Dr. Damon Montague (Darin Toonder) appears to make a veiled threat to Sasha, but at least he hasn’t injected her with anything again.

He tells her she’ll see him around town again, Sasha completely lucid. She was upset when Gladys called the police on her and hauled her back to Ferncliff, chaining her to a bed, and frightened when she saw Montague’s face at the door.

But Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) told Sasha not to worry, they would get her out the right way this time. As for Montague, he’s facing a much more formidable Sasha.

GH Spoilers – A Promise

In response to Montague’s veiled threat, Sasha makes a promise-as he tells her she’ll see him around town again she responds oh, she plans to do just that!

Montague should know what Sasha is capable of if she has to be, and this implies she’s fighting back with full force! What will it be this time, attack by parking sign or a dose of his own medicine? Maybe it’ll be a dose of Sonny’s mafia medicine instead.
