In what would be their honeymoon suite, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) demands explanations from Portia that are about twenty years too late. She’s still in tears and he’s angry, and wants to know were they ever going to find out the truth? The honeymoon may be over before it’s even started, and the newly married couple may not be able to come back from this – at least not the groom.
So far, all Portia’s explanations have obviously felt like excuses, and Curtis may not be forgiving. She should have told him she wasn’t sure if Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) was his when they first reconnected and got a paternity test.
At the docks, Laura and Kevin Collins (Genie Francis, Jon Lindstrom) have much to discuss, as Laura can’t shake the feeling that she’s missing something. She – and he – have just found out that Esmé Prince’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) birth father is Kevin’s twin Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom). The topic of Kevin being fooled by his brother again might also come up at some point, although maybe not right now. Ryan faked locked-in syndrome so masterfully no one could see through it, including Kevin, but the more important thing now is finding him and Esmé. Where Heather Webber (Alley Mills) fits in is still a mystery, and perhaps that’s what Laura’s talking about.
Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) is being a comforting friend to the devastated Trina, who was also comforted by Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews). Marcus will always be the dad that counts, because he’s the dad that raised her and Spencer will likely confirm that as well. Spencer’s obviously done something to make Trina feel a whole lot better, because he’s happy and she’s happy.
He is excited as he tells her he wouldn’t trade it, not for the world; they’ll soon cross out of the just friends zone. People can’t help it when they go through something as emotional as this together.
Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) confirms her theory as she sits at a nice dinner with Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison). Greg tells her that she should hear what he has to say, after not being sure about taking her job offer recently. Alexis had some ideas about what she considered to be odd behavior on his part. Whatever he tells her that he wants to say must confirm her suspicions.
Jordan’s running out of options as she talks with Mac Scorpio (John J. York) at the docks, just given the all clear at GH. Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) had knocked him out with a tire iron and Heather, Ryan and an unwilling Esmé Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) had left in his car. Mac wants to hunt down Ryan and the other two, fearing the worst for wife Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner).
Jordan doesn’t want Mac to go on the hunt after just being released from GH, and says they need another option. Mac argues, what if there is none?
Still at Wyndemere with Ryan and Felicia, Ava Jerome (Maura West) tries to buy time. Ryan had been talking about Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) and asking when was he coming home, not being in the loop about the current situation. Ava tells Ryan he has no need to worry, presumably about Nikolas. The one that needs worrying about is Austin Gatlin-Holt, (Roger Howarth) who just got the hook from Heather. However, later, Felicia will tend to an injured friend, so maybe it’s Austin.
Just then, Heather bursts into the room and she makes a shocking move – it looks like she’s got ahold of Ryan’s gun he stole from Mac! She’s ready to take someone out as she asks if they have any last words, and maybe she’s talking to Ava, her competition. Or, she might even be holding it on Ryan – she didn’t like the idea of Ava being a part of their little family vacation.
Whoever’s at the end of that gun had better hope they can talk Heather down. She doesn’t look like she’s very happy!
Esmé is also in the room, and it looks like she’s trying to stop her crazy parents, as she begs someone, “please, don’t!” She might be talking to Heather who might have a gun on Ryan, and maybe she’s getting some memories back, maybe not, she looks pretty scared. Esmé has had enough of people being hurt and killed in front of her in the last few hours. She looks like she’s ready to bolt the first chance she gets.
