GH Spoilers Monday, August 7: Schemes, Suspicions, Serious Business

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Monday, August 7 tease schemes, suspicions and serious business.

Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) works on a visitation scheme, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) voices her suspicions, and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) means serious business.

General Hospital Spoilers – Schemes

Cody winds up having to work on a scheme to get into Ferncliff to see Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattson) but first he tries Attorney Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) to see if she can help.

It may be Diane he’s talking to when he tells someone “Get me into Ferncliff to see Sasha.” Diane won’t be able to help him with that unfortunately, it’s out of her hands.

Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) set up Sasha’s visitor list and banned Cody from seeing her. He’ll work on a scheme to get someone else’s help to get in to visit Sasha.

GH Spoilers – Remembering?

Meanwhile, in her room in Ferncliff, Sasha’s still handcuffed to her bed but seems more lucid as she tells her nurse, Mandy (Daisy Wang) she feels like she’s missing something important. It looks like the shot dastardly “Doctor” Damon Montague (Darin Toonder) sedated her with has worn off as well as her pills.

It is very important for her to get whatever this detail she’s needing to be clear to her in her mind. She may be remembering she saw through the doctor and his true intentions, which is when he sedated her.

General Hospital Spoilers – Suspicions

Meanwhile, at the Metro Court Sam voices her suspicions to a snide looking Gladys who scoffs at her. Sam gets in her face and asks who drove Sasha to do that, meaning stabbing Cody.

It was plain that Gladys was taunting Cody when the attack happened, and she provoked him into grabbing her wrist, which is what set Sasha off. But it wouldn’t have happened if Sasha hadn’t hallucinated Cody as Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober).

Sasha thought she was defending Gladys from Cyrus at the time but quickly realized it was Cody, not Cyrus she’d stabbed. She was horrified and she definitely would want to talk to Cody to apologize-Gladys isn’t letting him or anyone else near her.

GH Spoilers – Quid Pro Quo?

Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is back in Port Charles and he’s checking in on Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) like he promised Laura Collins (Genie Francis) he would.

Valentin apparently tells Spencer to keep his nose clean, as he responds “I’ll keep my nose clean if you will!” It just sounds like two Cassadines claiming to be family but not trusting each other, but that’s the Cassadine way! The Cassadines are much more dysfunctional than the Quartermaines.

General Hospital Spoilers – Anna Devane Seeks Out Robert Scorpio

Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) seeks out Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) to tell him what she learned in a debriefing in London she was allowed to attend, now being a civilian.

She learned more about Pikeman Security Group, who’d she’d known about but didn’t connect to the sniper shooting at the Metro Court. She asks Robert what he knows about Pikeman, having burned all of her WSB files.

Through Robert’s info she will draw a connection between Pikeman and the shooting, which makes sense since the rifle was traced to the WSB arsenal. But she’ll be asking even more questions of Valentin later in the week, who once worked with them closely in his mercenary days.

GH Spoilers – Olivia Quartermaine Makes A Surprising Offer

Meanwhile, at the Metro Court restaurant Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) makes a surprising offer. She tells Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) she’s going to stop her right there, apparently interrupting.

Perhaps they’re talking about Kristina Corinthos-Davis’ (Kate Mansi) youth shelter she’s trying to get off the ground, considering Nina just came from Charlie’s Pub. It’s an important and needed thing in Port Charles, so Olivia might want to help too.

General Hospital Spoilers – Serious Business

Sonny is talking serious business with Brick (Stephen A. Smith) as he tells him “he lives until we get that body bag”.

Sonny’s been using his contacts to find out who the “big boss” is behind Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Gray) who Ava Jerome (Maura West) told him is blackmailing her.

Even though she admitted killing Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) the body disappeared and only Mason knows he put him on life support and hid him somewhere.

It’s hard to tell whose body he’s talking about in the bag and who lives until they get it. Sonny could be talking about Mason living until they get Nikolas’ body in a bag, or about Mason living until the big boss is in a bag!
