At the meeting of the Civilian Complaint Review Board, Chase expresses his gratitude to Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton). Brook Lynn asks him a question, and wants to know why that is, and he tells her it’s because of her. Brook Lynn had stepped up and wrote a letter to the board after the time when they wanted it, regretting that she hadn’t previously.
Chase had told her he wanted no more to do with her after Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) made him aware they’d been wanting a letter for months. Brook Lynn had avoided Dante’s many emails about the matter, but now she’s taking a serious step forward by showing up at the meeting.
Elsewhere, Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) and Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) catch up as she tells him honestly, they wouldn’t want it any other way. They are forming a friendship that could possibly turn into more, even though they often oppose one another in the courtroom, with his being the District Attorney. There are many cases before them that may have to wait a bit until the current kidnapping cases and threats to the world are dealt with. Still, it’s obvious that the pair do enjoy each other’s’ company, and their flirtatious banter.
At the offices of The Invader, Alexis receives a touching offer as Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) turns up to try and make amends. He tells her that he hopes she feels the same way, even though Alexis is still very worried about what his hidden health condition might be. After Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) left her office, she was deep in thought about what Gregory said about his being sick, and appeared to be doing some research on the computer.
It is difficult for Alexis to stay out of the details, but he does want to keep his condition private-perhaps he has a request for a little bit of help. She knows something’s wrong, but if he doesn’t want to tell, there’s not much she can do.
In a hotel room in Venezuela, Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) reunites with Holly Sutton (Emma Samms). Felicia has a question for Holly, asking if something strikes her a bit convenient. They will go on an adventure completing the rescue of Ethan Lovett (Nathan Parsons) who’s in a bit of a sticky situation. Chances are, he’s been in the same Cassadine compound that Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) and his hostages aboard The Haunted Star are headed for. It’s obvious, however, that Felicia is suspicious about something that she and Holly are following up on.
Back in Port Charles, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) updates her brother, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). She makes him aware of a series of emails about herself and Dex Heller (Evan Hofer). Dex wasn’t supposed to be involved with Josslyn, but obviously it’s happened, and both Michael and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) know it.
Might the emails in question be from Sonny, and do they pose even more danger for the couple? Dex is Michael’s plant in Sonny’s organization to take him down from the inside.
Meanwhile, Willow has a big ask for Carly Spencer, (Laura Wright) when she wants her to make peace between Michael and Sonny. Carly has to repeat herself, wanting clarity, unsure if she’s up to the task. But Willow is in a precarious position health wise, and this could be like a deathbed wish. She knows Carly is in the best position to make peace, being Michael’s mother and Sonny’s ex-wife several times. Carly knows both Michael and Sonny probably better than anyone.
Elsewhere, Sonny and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) are talking, and she’s wanting details from Sonny that he doesn’t seem to think she can handle. He tells her if he tells her that she cannot unknow it, similar to being unable to unsee something seen. Sonny is heavily involved in the rescue of his nephew Spencer Cassadine , (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati and his baby brother from Victor Cassadine.
But he also has several other things going around town, the Pikeman project pending and on hold, and that’s not the least of it. Sonny has asked Nina several times is she sure she wants to know details about his “other business”?
