GH Spoilers: Molly’s Cancer Diagnosis Parallels Willow’s

General Hospital spoilers tease that Molly Lansing Davis (Haley Pullos) and her domestic partner, T.J. Ashford (Tajh Bellow), have been struggling with the idea of having a baby together. Recently, the couple was overjoyed when they thought that Molly might be pregnant by accident, but it turned out to be a false alarm.

That pregnancy scare led Molly to see her doctor just to rule out any problems that could be causing the problems with her monthly cycle. Despite that, she and T.J. have remained optimistic about their future and are excited to plan for children, but their joy will be quickly shattered when e her own.

Molly had gone to see her doctor to discuss why her period hadn’t arrived and was hopeful that the pregnancy test had been wrong and that she would be one of those rare cases where a positive test would only show up on bloodwork in early pregnancy.

Unfortunately, the news was far worse than either of them expected — Molly may have a menstrual disorder that not only causes her great pain and irregularity, but it could prevent her from being able to have children. That’s the worst that the couple is preparing themselves to hear though.

According to General Hospital spoilers, Molly will be devastated by the news that she does not have endometriosis, but rather, the biopsy her doctor performs will confirm she has cancer.

Molly will be unsure how to tell T.J., who has always wanted to have a child of his own; adoption wouldn’t quite feel the same.

She may rationalize that lying by omission is alright since T.J. supported Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) when Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) wasn’t aware Willow had cancer; so it’s okay for him not to know about Molly’s diagnosis until she can come to grips with it, right?

Keeping such an important secret from her partner could easily be detrimental to their relationship if discovered down the line — especially if they do decide to pursue parenthood together through adoption or other means.

It will take courage for Molly to come clean about the matter before it’s too late, yet she may need support from family or friends before telling T.J., whatever their future plans may be.

Only time will tell if Molly and T.J. can make it through this difficult period in their relationship, but with communication, understanding, and mutual respect, they can eventually come out of the other side even stronger than before.
