GH Spoilers: Michael Must Choose: Does He Want Sonny In His Life — Or Out Of Everyone’s?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) has a rather difficult choice that lies ahead. He needs to decide how he wants to deal with his father, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), and Sonny unknowingly isn’t making it any easier on himself.

His recent outburst at the Quartermaine mansion didn’t help his cause. Michael has waffled a bit on how he feels about Sonny lately. He wants to hate him, but Sonny doesn’t always make that as easy as he used to either, especially at such a sensitive time in Michael’s life. Will these two be able to make amends before Michael moves forward with plans to ruin his father’s life and break the hearts of everyone attached to him?

General Hospital Spoilers — Michael Corinthos Could Push Pause

When Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) came to Michael and told him that the plans for the Pikeman Group to move their shipment through town are coming down to the wire, we could see the overwhelm on Michael’s face. He is in the midst of saying goodbye to a woman he is preparing to marry.

He will tell Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) that he plans to love and honor her for the rest of their lives until death do them part, fully aware that death will come calling in just a matter of weeks. He isn’t in a good mental space right now to pull the trigger on taking his dad down and throwing him in jail for the rest of his life — especially not when part of him just wants to hug his old man and embrace him once again.

GH Spoilers  – Tease Joss Jacks Might Take the Reins

Dex has also just opened up to his girlfriend, Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy), about what he’s really been up to — trying to take Sonny down and bring his reign of terror over Port Charles to an end. Dex boldly gave Joss the option to tell him to backpedal right out of the deal and said that he would upon her urging. Joss doesn’t appear to want to call those shots, but that doesn’t mean she won’t.

If Joss gets it in her head that Dex has the power to rid her family of Sonny forever and give her the means to be with Dex and have a public relationship with him as long as Sonny is locked up, she may choose that path even if Michael no longer wants it. Which side is Dex going to come down on?

In the meantime while Dex plays Michael and Joss off of each other, Sonny has one of his associates looking into Dex and how he spends his time. Something has tipped the mob boss off one too many times and tells him he can’t trust Dex the way that he wants to. Will Sonny discover Dex’s up close and personal involvement with Joss first, or will all roads lead back to the son who betrayed him and tried to take down his empire? This can’t end well.
