GH Spoilers: Maxie Traps Cody, Nurses Ball Drama Ahead

General Hospital spoilers reveal Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) are about to get a whole lot chummier with one another — but what will this mean for Cody’s relationship with Mac Scorpio (John J. York)? Maxie has just a few weeks left before the annual Nurses’ Ball is set to go off without a hitch — or so they hope.

She has several acts still to line up, and she’s hoping Cody can bring something new to the table in the spirit of being a plus-one to the Quartermaine family, who is always there to pitch in. As Cody wavers on whether or not he has anything worthwhile to bring to the table, Maxie will bolster his self esteem and help him forge the path forward. It’s for a good cause, after all!

When Maxie polls her rolodex for ideas on who she can rope into doing an act at the Nurses’ Ball in celebration of the hospital’s 60th year, Cody is one of many people who come to mind. Maxie is driving a hard bargain. She has very little time to pull all of this off, and it’s not beneath her to guilt people into giving up their free time and throwing their anxiety about public performances in the trash to help her out.

When Cody offers up his own nervousness, she just might pull Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) memory out of her bag and tricks and remind Cody he owes it to Britt to see that the hospital she served is served well in return.

GH Spoilers Hint Maxie Jones Pulls Mac Scorpio In

General Hospital spoilers tease when Maxie adds Mac to the act with Cody, all bets might be off. Cody just went through this with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna). He’s not interested in solidifying his relationship with Mac and spending more time with him.

He feels great every time he does, and awful every time Mac leaves and he has to face what he’s done to his father. Of course, he can’t tell Maxie the truth. So she’s going to think it’s rather suspect that he wouldn’t want to coordinate with Mac.
