GH Spoilers: Maurice Benard Reflects On Alexis Romance, Kristina’s Parents To Reunite?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers note that Sonny Corinthos’s love life could get pretty complicated. He’s currently with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), but her SEC secret could jeopardize their romance. With that being said, the actor who portrays the mob boss, Maurice Benard, recently spoke with Soap Opera Digest (SOD) on the cusp of celebrating three decades with the soap.

He spoke about Sonny’s past loves and had some interesting things to say about Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn).

General Hospital Spoilers – Was Alexis Davis One Of The Mob Boss’s “Great Loves”?

During the SOD chat, Maurice acknowledged some of Sonny’s greatest loves, including Nina, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), and of course, Brenda Barrett (Vanessa Marcil). Still, the mob boss has had plenty more over the years. So, it was interesting when Maurice took the time to talk about Alexis, who also happens to be his daughter Kristina Davis-Corinthos’s (Kate Mansi) mom.

Benard tells SOD that he believes actress Nancy Lee Grahn is “talented”, “quick”, with a “wicked” sense of humor. He also adds that he was “really into” the Sonny-Alexis romance.

Sina’s days are numbered. It’s only a matter of time before Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) remembers and blows the roof off Nina’s SEC secret. While there have been hints about CarSon reuniting, here and there, what if GH writers swerved things and had Sonny and Alexis feeling a spark?

What if something terrible happened to Kristina? An accident of some sort or if she got caught in the crossfire of the mob world. This would undeniably bring Sonny and Alexis closer together as they worry and care for their daughter. Alexis hasn’t exactly had an active love life as of late, and while many viewers thought there was a spark between her and Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) it seems like a romance is brewing between him and Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliott).
