GH Spoilers: Mason’s Blackmail-Sends Nikolas Coma Photo Spoofing Ava’s Number?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and rumors tease Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Gray) may have a very specific reason for wanting to mess with Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) phone. Since he put himself in her contacts and sent a text back to himself, he could have been sending himself her list of contacts for blackmail purposes.

General Hospital Spoilers – Mason Gatlin Didn’t Spill The Tea For Nothing

It’s certain Mason didn’t spill the tea to Ava and Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) about seeing Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) being stuffed in a tack closet for nothing. There’s probably a lot more to it than perhaps trying to use his information to blackmail Austin back into the “family fold”. Ava has a lot of rich friends and possibly Jerome Gallery clients in that contact list, and Mason won’t implicate himself in Nikolas’s presumed death, even though right now he’s alive.

Mason could do any number of things with Ava’s contact list and Nikolas hidden away on life support, in a coma. Of course, he could threaten to pull the plug and reveal a murder if Austin doesn’t return to the “family” but it’s worth a lot more.

GH Spoilers – Mason Gatlin Could Take A Photo, Spoof Ava Jerome’s Number

Mason could take a photo of Nikolas on life support and spoof Ava’s number and send that photo with blackmail requests to any number of people-in Ava’s name! He could possibly get into her bank accounts or pretend to be her and open one up online to receive blackmail money and quickly transfer funds and close the fake account. However, even online leaves a cyber trail and he may not be that stupid-unless his receiver account is under a shell name or corporation overseas.

People like Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) and Laura Collins (Genie Francis) are among Ava’s contacts in her phone who would pay a pretty penny for their boy. He’d be better off with Victor than Laura, however, Laura doesn’t work well with criminals, whereas Victor might-before he hunts him down and kills him!

General Hospital Spoilers – He Could Threaten To Turn Them Into The Police

Mason could play the concerned citizen and threaten to turn Ava and Austin into the police, and pretend he discovered Nikolas’ current hiding place and comatose Nikolas in it. But Ava has some friends of friends that may not be in her contact list that could find Nikolas through Mason’s phone without him even knowing it. She knows she can ask Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) for help, and Sonny knows Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) and Brick (Stephen A. Smith).

But Sonny might want to pull the plug himself, so she might do well to leave him out of the equation. Let Austin ask Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) to contact Spinelli for a private meeting, or Ava call her herself.
