GH Spoilers: Mason Blackmailing Ava, Wants Her To Spy On Sonny Or He Reveals Her Secret

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease in this week’s Sneak Peek, Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) is looking for some appreciation from Ava Jerome (Maura West). But Ava and Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) soon find out Mason’s idea of appreciation goes by a name-Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

General Hospital Spoilers – Surprise, Surprise

Ava and Austin had been surprised in Austin’s office at GH to find Mason back, sitting at Austin’s desk and remarking he had been out of town. He’d wanted Austin and Ava to show him some appreciation, presumably for keeping the secret that Ava had “killed” Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss). But Austin knows any time his cousin from Pautauk shows up it’s not good news, and he and Ava aren’t all that happy to see him reappear again.

They keep talking as Mason taunts Ava about not missing her husband, and Austin wonders if he’s just there to torment them. Mason says “they” – likely referring to “the family” needs Ava to use her family connections.

GH Spoilers – Sorry To Disappoint

Ava replies, sorry to disappoint, but tells Mason he’s too late where Jerome family connections are concerned; any connections she had to the Jerome family business died, twice.

Her father, Victor Jerome (Jack Axelrod) has been dead for years, and Julian Jerome (William DeVry) is dead as well; Mason stares from behind the desk and remarks “hmm”. Mason tells Ava that “they” were impressed with her pedigree, and the fact that she was a Jerome certainly did get “their” attention, confirming that “the family” must be a mob.

Ava says that’s great-and tells him to take his request down Route 51 to her sister, Olivia Jerome (Tonja Walker) who is the last surviving member of the mobbed-up Jeromes. Mason then informs Ava that unfortunately, Olivia can do nothing to help him.

General Hospital Spoilers – Austin Gatlin-Holt Wants To Get To The Point

Austin then interrupts, telling Ava that Mason gets off on playing mind games, because he never quite figured out what to do with his life.

Then he says that he, on the other hand, needs to get busy, having rounds coming up. He wants Mason to get to the point and asks him if he could move this along, and demands him to tell them what he wants.

Mason says that when he refers to Ava’s family, he’s not talking about the Jeromes, or even the Cassadines, what there are left of them.

Then he tells Ava he’s talking about the father of her daughter Avery Jerome-Corinthos; (Ava and Grace Scarola) the biggest value Ava holds for them is her connection to Sonny.
