GH Spoilers: Mac Confesses to Sam: “I’m Disappointed Cody Isn’t My Son”

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Mac Scorpio (John J. York) has always had a bit of regret about not having children of his own. Sure, raising Georgie Jones (Lindze Letherman) and Maxie Jones (Kristen Storms) has been the light of his life. He wouldn’t have it any other way. Except he wouldn’t be unhappy to learn that he had a child out there somewhere. He thought he was going to get that opportunity when it appeared that Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) might have been his son — but a DNA test purportedly proved that he was not. But Mac does not know Cody was lying about the test results.

Now, Mac’s real feelings on the issue are going to come to light. It’s going to bring new questions from Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) — who knows how to dig. Can Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) answer them honestly?

General Hospital Spoilers — Mac Tells All

Mac and Sam don’t often get to sit down with one another but they’re going to have the opportunity to soon. Until recently when Cody’s name was cleared — all thanks to Selina Wu (Lydia Look) — Sam was working with Cody to prove that Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) framed him for stealing a bracelet on the night of the Nurses’ Ball.

Now, Cody may not have a need for Sam anymore, but that doesn’t mean he has no need for someone else in his life. When Mac confesses how much Cody means to him, and that he really wants to look out for the young man despite him not being his son, it’s going to spur questions for Sam. She’s always looking at things through her PI lens.

GH Spoilers Hint Sam Senses Something is Off with Dante

Most likely, Dante will be present when Sam and Mac have this conversation. Perhaps Sam and Dante will be out at another one of their dates when they bump into Mac and Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner).

That happens from time to time since they’re nearly the only people in town who seem to go on regular dates. Regardless, Sam is going to have questions when she notices how off Dante’s behavior is when Mac talks about Cody. What gives, boyfriend?

General Hospital Spoilers — What’s a PI To Do?

We all know how this ends. Sam is a private investigator at heart and she’s not going to give up until she unearths the secret that is leaving Dante so rattled. Why did it strike Dante so differently when Mac conveyed that he has regrets and wishes Cody would have turned out to be his son?

Sam is going to start digging, and when she finds out the truth — that Cody actually is Mac’s biological son — she’s going to question whether Dante knew the whole time. That’s the only explanation that will make sense of his behavior.
