GH Spoilers: Lucy Nearly Inks A Deal With Tracy, Sasha’s Memories Save The Day

General Hospital (GH) spoilers report Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) now realizes Tracy Quartermaine’s (Jane Elliot) attack on Deception has more to do with family business than beauty tools, but what can she do about it?

Tracy truly has her over a barrel, and it sounds like Lucy is going to give in to her demands and give up her 1% voting share in ELQ.

But fans are wondering whether this storyline will wrap up that neatly as they look back on the string of events that led to this.

Why was it so important that we know Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) saw Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) haggle with Tracy over the flash drive?

If the truth was going to come out without Sasha’s involvement anyway, why did it matter? It doesn’t sound like the fans are going to drop this. Was it intentional, or was it a plot hole we should move on from?

When Lucy arrived at the Q mansion to press Tracy for answers on just what information she might have on the Deceptor, she was met with silence. There is no way Tracy is giving up her leverage.

Moreover, she doesn’t actually have the leverage she’s claiming to have. What she has is information she got from Blair Cramer (Kassie DePaiva), and she’s done a great job at making it seem like Brook Lynn was the guilty party without ever actually claiming so. She let everyone assume that on their own.

GH Spoilers – Say What Sasha Gilmore Corbin Saw Matters More Than We Know

When Sasha saw Tracy and Brook Lynn arguing about the flashdrive at the Metro Court pool, she didn’t know what she was witnessing at the time.

Hours later, she was stabbing Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) in the side and there was hardly time for her to think back on that moment with the crazy Quartermaines.

When the truth came out that Brook Lynn stole the information from Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) computer and gave it to her grandmother, Sasha was already in a throes of a drug-induced breakdown and on her way to Ferncliff for it. But what was that moment really about — and why did we need to know Sasha saw it all go down?

General Hospital Spoilers — Could Brook Lynn Quartermaine’ Be Slightly More Innocent?

Is it possible that Sasha’s testimony will be able to prove Tracy never had time to swipe what was on that flashdrive before handing it back over to her granddaughter?

If so, could it be used to cast doubt on where Tracy says the information came from — and ultimately link her to Martin ‘Marty’ Grey’s (Michael E. Knight) ex-wife?

Sure, Brook Lynn still traded proprietary secrets from Deception, but it looks like her granny was using her as a cover the whole time. Isn’t that actually worse than actually making her an accomplice?

Merely making her think she was one when she wasn’t to give cover to Blair is a new low — even for Tracy.

While this may not exempt Brook Lynn from the anger and rejection she will face from her (former) friends at Deception, and it may not clear her conscience, it could clear her of any legal wrongdoing.
