GH Spoilers: Lois Returns, Eddie Recognizes Her-Is Ned Getting His Memory Back?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease that when Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) returns and shows up at the Quartermaine mansion, Eddie Maine (Wally Kurth) recognizes her.

When he was shown a photo album including photos of himself and Lois by Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) a while back, he didn’t-might Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) be getting his memory back?

GH Spoilers – The Eddie Maine That Resurfaced Isn’t Even Himself

The Eddie that resurfaced after Ned woke up from his induced coma following his traumatic brain injury wasn’t the Eddie that anyone remembered; the old Eddie wouldn’t have busked for money.

This Eddie didn’t remember his family, not even Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) who was always disapproving of his music.

The original Eddie knew who both he and Ned was, plus an extra identity he used as a pharmaceutical salesman.

The Quartermaines were so disapproving and so controlling of him he had to come up with not one, but two alter egos in order to play his music-which is how he met Lois.

General Hospital Spoilers – Does Eddie Maine Recognize Lois Cerullo From The Photo?

The big question here is whether Eddie recognizes Lois from the past or from the photo in the album that Olivia showed him several months back.

But there was a recent clue that he may be remembering his past-that is, unless he’s been relearning his old music-he’d played a song by the Idle Rich recently.

That was at the concert at The Savoy, and the Idle Rich was Eddie’s band when he met Lois and married her; but again, it may be a case of relearning.

When he first awoke from the coma he didn’t even remember Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) nor was he reminded of her mother, which is strange indeed. And as for the photo album, it only brought recognition of a black electric guitar, not of any people or places or things.

Eddie walks in on Lois, Brook Lynn and an irritated and astonished Tracy, Lois not having visited for years-she didn’t even come to Port Charles when Brook Lynn’s throat was slashed.

Eddie spots Lois and tells her he knows her-she says of course he does, she’s his ex-wife! It’s unknown whether Brook Lynn has been in touch with her mother about her father’s head injury or his waking up as what Lois would see as a “partial” Eddie Maine.

So it may be a shock to Lois if she’s not been brought up to speed that he’s saying he’s Eddie, not Ned, and literally “not all being there”!

But if using a song from the Idle Rich and recognizing Lois wasn’t from the photo in the album, Ned may get his full memories back soon!
