GH Spoilers: Liesl And Nina Conspire To Throw Carly To The Wolves

General Hospital Spoilers tease Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) are on a mission to take Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) down. Ever since Carly revealed the truth she had been keeping since last May — that Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) is Nina’s long-lost daughter and twin sister to Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier), Nina has been devastated and spiteful. She wants Carly to pay for what she has done, but it seems as though she’s the only one who thinks that matters. She knows she won’t have any luck at convincing others in Carly’s orbit that she deserves to answer for her crimes, but Nina just won’t be able to let this go. With an aunt like Liesl in her arsenal, she won’t have to.

It seems like Carly can truly do no wrong. She almost cost Willow her life, and yet both Willow and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) are willing to proceed as though nothing is wrong. They’ve welcomed Carly with open arms and Willow forgave her almost immediately for what she had done.

General Hospital spoilers show Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is angry with Carly, but he’s willing to set it to the side for the betterment of his son, Willow, and their little family. Even Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) — who was betrayed on a much deeper level the entire time by his girlfriend — has jumped right back into his relationship with her. Why is it that Nina and Liesl seem to be the only people who see Carly for who she is and have no doubt that she kept this secret because she is self-serving?

Liesl meant it when she told Nina nothing would delight her more than to dig into Carly’s life and expose her for the liar that she is. That is just what Liesl is going to do, whether she has Nina’s permission to go snooping around or not. Liesl wants to avenge her own daughter’s death and hasn’t the means to make it happen right now. So focusing her grief and anger on Nina’s plight just might be the distraction she needs to invest herself in. Of course, that could get her into some trouble; she hasn’t been the most emotionally stable person as of late. When she figures out what it is that Carly and Drew are hiding, she’ll run straight to Nina, grinning from ear to ear.

Holding the power in her hands to throw Carly into lock-up is going to feel amazing for Nina. Still, she knows Sonny would never forgive her if she took action against Carly that left his kids without a mother present in their lives. She cannot be the person who does this to Carly. Furthermore, Drew will also be at risk, but she’s willing to throw him under the bus since he clearly chose which side he was on by jumping into bed with Carly.
