GH Spoilers: Kristina Davis Becomes A Surrogate For Sister Molly

Lexi Ainsworth is out as Kristina Davis on General Hospital. She will be replaced by Days of Our Lives actress Kate Mansi. On her Instagram, Ainsworth called the parting of ways a “mutually beneficial decision” between her and her longtime employer.

The actress also said that she is “interested in pursuing new career opportunities that align with my evolving interests and goals.”

General Hospital Spoilers – Fans Want A Bigger Storyline For Kristina Davis

GH fans have been calling for a bigger Kristina storyline for years. Many believe that the character, and the actress, were being wasted. She is only seen sporadically and rarely has a big storyline.

The last time Kristina was featured was when she joined the “Dawn of Day” cult, but that was all the way back in 2018/2019. More recently, the daughter of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is only seen at a family affair or working behind the bar at Charlie’s Pub.

Fans have been hoping that both Kristina and her half-sister, Molly Lansing Davis (Haley Pullos) would have more to do than just coming to their mom’s rescue.

Ainsworth posted that she was looking forward to her character’s upcoming storyline before she exited the soap. That story may just bring both Kristina and Molly into the forefront.

Molly and domestic partner, TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow), recently decided to try to have a baby. Shortly after, the couple found out that this would not be so easy. It looks like Molly has endometriosis, which will make getting pregnant very difficult. This is the perfect time for her big sis to step in and help out. She would make a perfect surrogate to carry Molly and TJ’s baby.

This is a soap after all, so it probably won’t go that smoothly. Knowing GH, someone may switch embryos or eggs and Kristina could end up carrying her own baby with TJ or someone else’s altogether.

The Davis sisters may finally get a juicy storyline.

General Hospital Spoilers – What’s Next For Lexi Ainsworth?

Ainsworth made her final General Hospital appearance on April 27, 2023, when she attended the wedding of her brother Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen).

She said on her Instagram, “I am currently working on writing my own story from my point of view which has been thus far cathartic and hopefully inspiring to other women. So, I look forward to sharing that with you guys when it is completed.”

She continued by saying that she will “continue to grow and expand my talents beyond the industry,” and “I do want to take a second to address the fans and express my deepest appreciation to you guys who have supported me over the years.”
