GH Spoilers: Kristen Vaganos Is The New Molly Lansing-Davis, Brooke Anne Smith OUT!

General Hospital (GH) spoilers show that on September 27 fans were surprised to see a new actress in the role of Molly Lansing-Davis. This makes the fourth actress in a matter of months to portray Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) assistant DA daughter.

Shortly after the show got started, a voiceover quickly announced that the role is now being played by Kristen Vaganos.

General Hospital Spoilers – A New Molly Lansing-Davis On GH

The recast crisis got underway after Haley Pullos was arrested for DUI in California. It was reported that alcohol and marijuana were found in the actress’ car following a freeway crash in which she had to be extracted from her vehicle after crashing into another car.

At the time reports indicated that Pullos yelled at the firemen trying to extricate her for messing up her $400 blouse.

Her legal issues mounted, and she later was seen being driven to rehab by her father, but not before grabbing her a Happy Meal at McDonalds.

GH spoilers – Molly Davis Recast

After Pullos’ legal troubles, Holiday Mia Kriegel served as an emergency recast in May. In July, Brooke Anne Smith became the next Molly recast.

To be honest, neither recast caught on with fans, but then again, neither actress had the time to establish herself as the new Molly.

It didn’t help that Molly is in the middle of a front burner story, so the actresses had to learn on the fly, and viewers saw a lot of Molly which may have been too much of a shock all at once.

So, in yet another casting change, Kristen Vaganos is the newest Molly. We wish her all the best in what can best be described as a challenging situation.

For her sake, as well as the fans’ and the show’s, we hope she will nail the part and the story of Molly and TJ Ashford’s baby drama will be done justice.

Vaganos’ include the TV series like Bulge Bracket, Serial Soulmate and Bound for Glory. She’s also been in the movies My Sweet Holiday, I Am Lisa, and Secret Society of Lies.

On her first outing Vaganos spoke very few words as Molly, and we saw her in a dimly lit Savoy.

For all intents and purposes, she looks like a Davis daughter and her resume is solid, so hopefully the audience will give her a chance to shine in a role that has become something of an albatross.
