GH Spoilers: Kevin Covered For His Brother, Again — Ryan Is Still Alive!

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) was in hot water the last time he lied to his wife — and everyone else — and pretended his brother was dead.

When they all found out Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) was actually holed up in Ferncliff — with Kevin as his doctor — Laura Collins (Genie Francis) was furious at his betrayal, but she got over it because she’s Laura and she seemingly always understands why people do the crazy things they do.

She believed Kevin had good intentions in keeping his brother’s survival a secret, and she also believed he learned his lesson by lying to everyone, including how much he disappointed her. When she learns he’s done it yet again, the outcome will be very different this time around.

General Hospital Spoilers — Mac Scorpio Killed Ryan Chamberlain

When Ryan showed up with Heather Webber (Alley Mills) and Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) on Spoon Island — primed to terrorize Ava Jerome (Maura West) and either kill her or take her with him following their prison break, he was stunned to find she was there with Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner). Two birds with one stone?

Ryan knew he couldn’t take both of them with him, but he thoroughly enjoyed the terror in their eyes as they wondered what he would do next.

Fortunately for them, the police showed up and ultimately, Mac Scorpio (John J. York) shot and killed Ryan.

GH Spoilers – Hint Kevin Collins Put On A Good Show

It was a solemn moment for Kevin to say goodbye to his twin brother who had tormented so many people he loved for so many years.

The trauma bond between them was undeniable, and Kevin had to grieve that death the same as he would have if he had lost a brother who was good to him.

Some fans are wondering what Kevin’s display of grief and emotion will mean in hindsight when it is revealed that Ryan didn’t die and that Kevin — once again — helped tuck him away from society so no one knew it.

What about those tear-filled eyes at the Metro Court as he and Mac hashed out the reality that his closest friend killed his twin brother? Was it all for show?

While the details are unknown and the reality of where Ryan might be is murky right now, some fans have suspected that Dr. Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) could have stepped in — being at Wyndemere that night — to give Kevin a hand in keeping his brother’s survival hush-hush all over again.

Heather could even be in on it, as could Esme — who wouldn’t have been able to remember it at all. Until now anyway, since her memories are starting to return, she could be the one to blow the whistle on her father still being alive.

Will Laura understand Kevin’s position when he claims he was doing it to preserve Esme’s relationship with her dad? It’s unlikely that she’s going to tolerate this same lie all over again.
