Dex was entrusted with penetrating Sonny’s criminal organization and dismantling it one by one. But now he has become a part of the mob family and is finding himself in a moral quandary; how will he let Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) know — or break it to Joss — that he is straying from the original objective? Where will that leave his relationship with Joss if he decides to stay in the mob?
Dex has continually sworn to Joss that his time being a part of Sonny’s entourage was coming up on its expiration date, it seems he doesn’t actually want to quit. What happened and when?
That’s what she’ll be left asking herself when she starts to realize Dex seems sad about his up-and-coming departure from the world of organized crime.
As Joss starts to poke and prod in hopes of getting Dex to tell her the truth about how he’s feeling, she won’t like the answers written all over his face. It seems that Dex has formed a bond with Sonny he isn’t keen on breaking.
This growing bond will surely be tested when Joss starts to sense something wrong and tells Michael about it. Her big brother can fix it, right?
Surprisingly, Michael is not likely to be upset about this development with Dex. Although Michael was the instigator in all of this and he hired Dex to carry this task out, things have changed for him, too.
He just didn’t want to admit it to himself. Michael’s scheme for revenge against Sonny has fizzled out; he doesn’t want this anymore.
When Joss reveals what’s going on, relief will wash over Michael as he finally gets what he wants without having to take any action. Michael needs to be focused on Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) getting the bone marrow transplant she needs.
Feeling like no one is in her corner, Joss just might decide to take charge where Dex and Michael have left off. All Joss wants is to see to it that she can stop worrying about her boyfriend’s safety.
Every time Dex walks about the door, Joss has to wonder whether she will see him again later. Living life wondering what happens if he never comes back is far from what she had in mind when she first jumped between the sheets with Dex on New Year’s Eve.
She could give up on him now that he’s gone back on his word, or she could see to it that he never works in the mob again. Can she manage to rat him out to Sonny without jeopardizing his safety in a whole other way? Keep checking back with us for more GH news, updates, and spoilers just ahead.
