GH Spoilers: Joss Feels Sorry For Sonny — And Dex Is So Relieved She Does

General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) is lying to her boyfriend, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer), and she’s lying to herself. She’s doing a bang-up job of it, too. When Dex asked her whether or not she was hoping Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) would get away with his crimes, she insisted she wasn’t.

Joss has spent considerable time reflecting upon the people who were doomed to be heartbroken when it all goes down, and she still told Dex to see it through. Watching Sonny get hauled off to federal prison won’t be an easy feat for his children, especially his young daughters — Avery Corinthos (Grace Scarola) and Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Spears). But Joss held firm that it wasn’t Dex who would be hurting her family — it was Sonny and his choices. Does she really believe that in her heart of hearts?

General Hospital Spoilers — Carly Spencer Provides Insight

Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) does a great job of feigning disappointment in and disgust for her ex. When he bailed her out of trouble at the PCPD as the SEC breathed fire down her neck, she hated having to show him her gratitude for helping Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison). Sonny reminded Carly that they were still family, no matter what. Carly does understand the ties that bind her to Sonny, and she has no trouble throwing them in Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) face, but that doesn’t mean she wants to share sentimental or emotional moments with the mob boss. After all, what if he took note of the look of longing on her face? Joss definitely did. As Joss starts to pick up on the signs that her mom still isn’t over this mafia kingpin, she might have second thoughts about having him carted off to prison.

GH Spoilers – Say Joss Jacks Confesses To Dex Heller, Which Is Easier Than Telling Michael Corinthos

When Joss realizes she doesn’t want this to go down, it’s going to be in the eleventh hour. Dex won’t be irritated with her, he never is, but it’s definitely going to put a crimp in his plans as he’s been reassuring Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) that everything is going to go off without a hitch. It’ll be a tough conversation for him to broach with Michael, and it’s possible Joss may suggest that she’s the one to do it. Is Dex really going to let her handle his business that way though, or has this become more of a family affair than business anyway? Either way, when Dex hears Joss doesn’t want him to go through with this, he’s going to be relieved — because he’s been feeling the same exact way.

General Hospital Spoilers — Ties That Bind

At some point along this journey, Dex started seeing a side of Sonny he didn’t know existed. No one told him how much the mob boss loves his family and would move Heaven and Earth to protect them. Of course, Kristina Corinthos Davis (Lexi Ainsworth) recently shed some light on that, and it made Dex think there might be more to the story than Michael or Joss were sharing with him. They’re hurt and bitter; they’re just biased, right? As Dex continues to waffle back and forth, he has been struggling with the reality that he might be punishing a man who doesn’t deserve it that he’s actually come to respect. Of course, this will leave one question on the table — what does this mean for Dex’s career with the mob? Surely Joss doesn’t want him to hang onto that.
