GH Spoilers: Joss Catches Dex In A Lie, And It Won’t Be The Last Time

General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) has been trucking right along in her relationship with Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) and she’s quite comfortable with how things are going sure, they might have to keep their relationship on the down low for the time being, but Joss isn’t terribly keen on looping her parents in on her latest relationship anyway.

Her father, Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher), is perpetually in purgatory while Rademacher awaits the results of a lawsuit against ABC Disneys for the terms under which he was let go. Her mom, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright! Is consumed with guilt about keeping it a secret that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is Willow Tait’s (Katelyn Macmullen) birth mother. Between that and helping to plan Willow and Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Deull) wedding, Carly’s plate is full.

Truth be told, Joss doesn’t really have anyone in her corner right now to talk to about Dex. So when she catches him in a lie, there will be no friend to vent to or help to be had. This is going to force Joss to look at her newfound relationship in a different light, and she won’t like it. Joss and Dex have been going pretty hot and heavy since they finally linked up on New Year’s Eve. Although it came at the expense of not only her relationship — but her lifelong friendship — with Cameron ‘Cam’ Webber (William Lipton), Joss hasn’t had any regrets about hooking up with Dex. Until now, that is. Why is Dex pulling away?

GH Spoilers – Say Change Is On The Horizon

In just two weeks’ time, the Pikeman Group shipment is coming through Sonny’s territory, and Dex is ready to use that as an opportunity to take Sonny down. He’s pitched it to Michael — who was less than secure about his desires to go through with this, but Dex isn’t backing down now. He has too much riding on this. If Sonny doesn’t get locked up, he can’t stay in Port Charles with Joss and live his life as a free man. Something has to happen, even if he has to make it happen himself.

When Joss starts to wonder what’s going on with Dex, she might assume at first that something major is happening with Sonny’s business that has him on edge. But wanting to protect her is his major goal in pulling back, and it’s only temporary. She doesn’t know that though. Much like her mother wouldn’t settle for Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) giving her a half-truth, Joss isn’t going to settle for it either. When Dex slips up and mixes truth and lies, Joss is going to catch on, and she will hold him accountable.
