GH Spoilers: Joss Asks Michael To Forgive Their Mother

General Hospital spoilers reveal Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) has quite a bit on her plate right now — a new boyfriend, a heartbroken ex-boyfriend who has abandoned any hope of remaining friends with her, and a friend group she can’t be honest with. She really needs her family to pull together right now and be, well, a family.

Moreover, her mother, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), definitely needs her family right now — even if some of them want nothing to do with her and don’t feel like she deserves their forgiveness. That’s where Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) is stuck. He won’t ice Carly out because he knows he needs her, but he can’t get over what she’s done either. Will Joss be able to help him see his mom in a new light?

According to General Hospital spoilers, Joss just gets her mother in a way that Michael probably never will. When she first heard about what Carly did, she was astounded, but she wasn’t furious like everyone else was. She knows her mother’s heart and always wants to see the best in Carly.

This apple didn’t fall too far from the tree, either. Joss and Carly are a great deal alike, and they both tend to act on their feelings without thinking from time to time even if someone else gets hurt. Cameron ‘Cam’ Webber (William Lipton) might be able to attest to that right now.

Michael is still distraught over what his mother has done. As he waits to find out whether or not he will even be spending his future with Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) the way they have planned, he can’t help but hold Carly accountable for letting it get this bad. When Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) turns out to be a positive bone marrow match for her daughter, it will only fuel more anger in Michael because he will know Willow could have been improving for months had Carly cared to tell her the truth when she found out last May.

Carly’s behavior is going to make Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) mistakes over the last year and a half pale in comparison, and Michael just might be desperate enough to have any parent in his corner that he lets his dad back into his heart.

Michael has heard Carly’s side of the story already. He’s heard her reasons for why she claims she did what she did. Hearing them from Joss won’t make them more believable or tolerable. Michael can’t forgive Carly for withholding such important information, regardless of whether or not she thought there was a good reason to share what she knew.

She made important decisions about Willow’s life without consulting her, and her arrogance is going to turn Michael against her in ways even he can’t yet imagine. Joss will watch Michael’s attitude changing toward Carly and she will feel powerless to stop it, but that won’t keep her from trying. She might want to b careful; he could turn on her too.
