GH Spoilers: Josh Swickard’s Wife Lauren Joins The Soap Opera

General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest it’ll be a family affair on the set of the soap, as Josh Swickard’s (Harrison Chase) real-life wife joins the cast. According to Soap Opera Digest (SOD), Lauren Swickard will debut on the daytime drama the week of August 7th.

General Hospital Spoilers – Lauren Swickard’s Role In Port Charles

GH spoilers state that Lauren will be playing the part of a new nurse at Ferncliff, simply known as “Janice”. Ms. Swickard states that she’s very “excited” to join the cast as she’s “loved everybody” there for a number of years. She also notes she loves the producers and some of the actors on the show are her “best friends”. She thinks it has been so “special” to be a part of things.

Lauren will take part in the storyline involving Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson), who is currently at Ferncliff thanks to the scheming Dr. Damon Montague (Darin Toonder), also known as “Dr. Monty”, and her mother-in-law Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs). Will Janice be a part of Dr. Monty and Gladys’s evil plan, helping the dastardly duo or will she play a key role in “saving” Sasha?

GH Spoilers – Lauren & Josh Swickard’s Romance

Lauren and Josh met on the set of the film Roped. They ended up falling in love and then getting married in July 2019. The couple has two kiddos together, one two-year-old girl named Savannah and a five-month-old boy, Arthur. The Swickards also worked on the Netflix movie franchise, A California Christmas, both the original and sequel, A California Christmas: City Lights. Lauren and Josh starred in the movies, and Mr. Swickard also produced and wrote them, too.

Ms. Swickard has also had roles in HBO’s Eastbound & Down, The Neighbors, Dear White People, Holiday Harmony, Iron Man 3, and Twisted Twin.
