GH Spoilers: James Patrick Stuart’s Seinfeld Blooper Is Golden

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that daytime fans know James Patrick Stuart for his role as Valentin Cassadine on the ABC soap as well as for playing Will Cortlandt on All My Children. But his illustrious career includes an appearance on the legendary sitcom Seinfeld.

He appeared in 1996 and Stuart recently shared some info about that star turn.
Stuart shared a funny scene on social media, showing fans an outtake from the show about nothing.

In 1995 Stuart appeared in the seventh episode of the eighth season, titled “The Checks.” According to SOD, “Stuart appears as Brett, a handsome furniture dealer who Elaine falls for.

While visiting Jerry’s apartment with her, Brett assumes that Jerry is struggling to make ends meet as he can’t afford any furniture by Karl Farbman and doesn’t own a fax machine.”

In Stuart’s on-air scene, Jerry thinks that Elaine is going to the friends’ fave coffee shop to eat but “Brett laughs and says he thinks they can do better than that.”

More specifically, Stuart as Brett says “You look like you could use a solid meal at a real restaurant.” Jerry takes offense and says “You look like you could use a…” before Elaine shushes him.

That’s all the audience saw, but Stuart’s clip reveals that Seinfeld kept talking causing Julia Louis-Dreyfus to burst out laughing.

Stuart’s other credits include Frasier, Spin City, The Ellen Show, Nip/Tuck, Ghost Whisperer, and Judging Amy. He’s also done voice work on several animated series.

At this point in time Stuart’s current character, Valentin Cassadine, is definitely not doing a lot of laughing. His life is in a shambles due in large part to his deceit, ego, and arrogance.

Throw in some panic and fear, and you’ve got a character whose personal life was decimated when his girlfriend shot his teen daughter.
