GH Spoilers: Is Trina’s Paternity Problem Really Solved?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Trina trying to move on with her life and get to know Curtis and his family better now that she knows he is her biological father, but is he?

General Hospital Spoilers – Are Things Ever As They Seem?

The paternity test results seemed to prove once and for all that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) is Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) real father. Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews) is absolutely devastated and broke down in the elevator despite Trina promising him that he would always be her dad.

Trina didn’t want Curtis to turn out to be her father, but there was already other evidence that they were related, including a genealogy test.

Still, many fans don’t want to believe this is the end of it and it might not be. After all, DNA test results are switched and doctored all the time on soaps, so why not this time?

GH Spoilers – The Possible Culprits

We all know that Selina Wu (Lydia Look) offered to make the DNA test results say anything that Curtis wanted them to say, but he turned her down. Of course, she offered to make it seem as if Curtis was not Trina’s dad. Knowing how much he wanted the opposite result may have prompted Selina to have Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) go the other way — just to be nice to the man who gives her a place to run her illegal gambling ring.

Then, there is also Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr). We know she is not above secrets and lies and kept Trina’s paternity possibilities a lie for two decades. She also went against her Hippocratic oath when she woke Oz Haggerty (Max Faugno) from his coma when it could have killed him.

Who is to say she didn’t switch the DNA results on her own? She has access to the lab and had that little sly smile on her face when Trina read the results out loud. Portia, a controlling woman, is obsessed with keeping Curtis and Trina by her side so she might have decided to give herself a real family even if it hurt Taggert the most.
