GH Spoilers: Is Spinelli’s Move Closer To Maxie The Beginning Of Their Happily Ever After?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers leak Damien Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) has moved into Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) place, and the kids couldn’t be happier to have him around.

As for Maxie, she loves spending time with Spinelli, but it may take the magic of the holiday season for her to recognize just how much he means to her — and that she may not want him to leave when his apartment is repaired.

Of course, Spinelli’s apartment isn’t destroyed at all. His ploy to help Maxie with a financial boost is going to aid him in more ways than one though, even if she finds out in the end that his pad was never flooded.

How many Christmases are going to pass Maxie and Spinelli by before they realize why they want to spend all of them together? Is the chemistry still there to make this once-perfect match work?

Now that Maxie has built the life she wants for herself and her children, is Spinelli going to fit into it with all of his quirks? Will she welcome the change to her corporate life, and can we really see the two of them together?

One big happy family is a nice picture to paint, and Georgie Spinelli (Lily Fischer) would certainly be thrilled, but Spinelli isn’t exactly Maxie’s type and never has been.

Some fans are claiming the dynamic between them will have to change if we are to believe Maxie is attracted to Spinelli now in a way she never really was before.

Maxie is thinking back on the last year of her life this holiday season. Sharing her thoughts with her mother, Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner), she mentioned finding it so unbelievable that Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) was dead.

That relationship barely made any sense, and she never truly felt accepted or desired by Austin. Perhaps that’s the void that Spinelli could fill by moving into that department of her life.

Finally, someone who knows Maxie inside and out and loves her just the way she is. There can’t be any less chemistry between them than there was between her and Austin, right?

Last Christmas, it was Ellie Trout (Emily Wilson) who pegged Spinelli’s feelings for Maxie and urged him to tell her the truth.

He admitted he had once again fallen for his daughter’s mother, and he was sure he wanted her to know. But later, he backpedaled.

It wasn’t the right time, and she wasn’t thrilled with him for being so crass about her then-beau, Austin. In hindsight, of course, Maxie learned that Spinelli was right on the mark about him.
