GH Spoilers: Is She Or Isn’t She-Is Charlotte Really Guilty For Targeting Anna?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease things may not be as they appear where Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) is concerned. She may not be the one who’s targeting Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and causing chaos-it could be someone else under the control of long latent brainwashing by Charlotte’s paternal grandmother!

General Hospital Spoilers – They Think It’s Charlotte Cassadine

Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) THINK it’s Charlotte who vandalized Anna and Valentin’s suite while they were elsewhere.

The problem is, did they look far enough past Charlotte to see if someone else could have come later?

Did they look far enough to see Charlotte come back out-no, they didn’t, Valentin stopped at the part with his daughter entering the suite.

One would think if she vandalized Anna’s clothing with red ink and wrote a threatening message on the mirror, possibly with red lipstick, she’d have gotten some on her.

When Charlotte returned, looking for her Papa, she seemed shocked as Valentin and Anna did-and with no trace of red on her.

GH Spoilers – Could Both Charlotte Cassadine And Jake Spencer Be Programmed?

While Charlotte may indeed have been brainwashed with latent programming to be triggered later by Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) we can’t forget someone else who was captive on Cassadine Island.

Jake Spencer (Hudson West) was presumed dead for several years, traumatized and possibly programmed, while Charlotte was held by Victor, Jake was held by Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers).

Viewers will remember Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) latent programming that was triggered by pen clicks, Jake’s and Charlotte’s could be similar, and triggered by other things.

If Charlotte is programmed, she could be considered innocent of the targeting and terrorizing of Anna, as could Jake if programmed; ultimately Victor and Helena would be to blame.

General Hospital Spoilers – Did They Vandalize Anna Devane’s Front Door And Burn Her House?

There may have been a clue when Anna found that word “murderer” spray painted on her door in red, Anna at the time dismissing it to Valentin as “teenagers.”

Jake and Charlotte are now both teenagers, but when the arson occurred the feet seen could have been a male, although it could have been a female as well.

Victor actually could have programmed Jake earlier, when he was little, and Charlotte later, when he had her captive in Europe-when Jake was little, it was before Victor faked his death.

Victor had to have a fail-safe in place for revenge, if his plans to control the world with Mikkos Cassadine’s (John Colicos) virus failed, as it did.

He could have indeed programmed Jake very early in his life to be activated later, and Charlotte more recently.
