General Hospital spoilers reveal Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) had a bright future in the music industry ahead of her before she was attacked by a town pariah and left allegedly permanently scarred. The attack left her vocal cords in rough shape and although BLQ survived the incident, her singing talent didn’t.

She has been thrilled to find a new space in the music industry to thrive, but it’s just not the same as bringing music to life with her voice. Word on the street is she just might make a recovery after all though. Could saving her voice aid in saving her relationship with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), too?

A few years back at another Nurses’ Ball event, Nelle was making her rounds terrorizing the good people of Port Chuck when Brook Lynn became her next victim. Slashing her throat with fabric scissors left Brookie’s vocal cords damaged by scar tissue that just can’t accommodate the range and pitch she could once pull off. She’s lived the last few years in fear of pursuing singing again, but her dad, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth), just might play a role in pushing her to try again.

Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) might play a role in turning Brook Lynn’s life around. He recently recommended an amazing plastic surgeon to Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West), who hopes to rid herself of the scars left by The Hook on her abdomen as much as she longed to remove the scars a fire once left behind on her face.

General Hospital spoilers show Austin and Brook Lynn did chit-chat over the holidays at Q mansion, and it seems like these one-time enemies have made peace and even found common ground. Brook Lynn appeared to understand the poor choices Austin made in his relationship with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), because she’s done the very same thing to Chase. Will Austin recommend the same surgeon to BLQ in hopes of cleaning up her vocal cords and getting her back on the map as a singer?
