GH Spoilers: Heather Makes Esme An Offer She Should Refuse — But Will She?

General Hospital spoilers report Heather Webber (Alley Mills) is about to send Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) over the edge. When Esme went to Pentonville looking for her mother, it wasn’t to make amends as Heather had hoped. Rather, she was there to prove to herself just how little she was like either of her parents.

Heather could see the uncertainty and fear written all over Esme’s face as she tried to keep her wits about her and put up a good front, like she was the one calling the shots. But Heather isn’t actually afraid to see Esme walk away.

She’s only useful to her if she lets Heather steer the ship. That shouldn’t be hard, just as soon as she gets her claws into the weakened, young mom.

For starters, Esme is a mother now. So she knows a thing or two about what it takes to bring a child into the world even when you have nothing to offer him.

She also knows she could never part with Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay. And so it begs the question: how could her mother just abandon her and never look back?

Esme has a burning desire to understand what Heather was thinking when she gave up her child forever.

Is it really about cementing it into her mind that they’re not alike, or is Esme wondering if anyone ever loved her?

GH Spoilers – Leak Heather Webber Always Has An Agenda

Heather delivered whatever Esme needed to hear to her on her good side. That’s how it works with her.

She might be stuck on the inside, but being moved from D’Archem Asylum to Pentonville after having escaped Spring Ridge was a big plus in Heather’s book.

She doesn’t need to bust out of prison to get the job done. She can pull Esme’s strings and see to it that the Cassadine family still pays for all they’ve done, right?

Eame might be struggling with budding feelings for Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez), but they’re going to pale in comparison to how she’s feeling toward Mommy Dearest.

With such complex emotions running the gamut from hated and loathing to a genuine desire to connect with the woman who gave birth to her, it’s going to leave a gaping wide hole in Esme’s heart through which Heather will weasel her way back into her daughter’s life.
