GH Spoilers: Has Ryan Somehow Gotten Inside Kevin’s Head?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Dr. Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) has always had too close of a connection to his deceased brother, serial killer Ryan Chamberlain (also Jon Lindstrom) for his own good.

Kevin has spent his career trying to find a way to cure Ryan of his mental illness, but Kevin also has his own history of mental instability.

Kevin hasn’t quite seemed like himself since he and Laura Collins (Genie Francis) arrived in Russia.

And while Kevin might just be tired of Laura’s constant missions to rescue one of her children, something far more sinister may be going on.

Kevin was devastated when Ryan was killed a few months ago. He had really hoped to find a way to save Ryan from himself.

But when Mac Scorpio (John J York) shot Ryan in the line of duty, he killed any chance Kevin had to cure his brother.

It’s possible that ever so slowly, Ryan’s persona will take over Kevin’s mind and Laura might be so occupied searching for her missing son, Nikolas Cassadine (last played by Marcus Coloma) that she might not realize something is wrong until it’s far too late.

GH Spoilers – Laura Collins Could Be Trapped On Cassadine Island!

Laura had hoped to find Nikolas inside the property Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) left to Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) in his will. When that didn’t yield any results, Laura decided to go to Cassadine Island next.

Laura mentioned to Kevin that the sub-basement held all kinds of dark secrets. Kevin and Laura won’t likely find Nikolas there but something could easily trigger Kevin.

If there is indeed a Ryan persona lurking inside Kevin, Cassadine Island would be the worst place for Ryan to emerge.

Decades ago, Laura spent several years as a captive there. And something like that could happen all over again if Ryan locks Laura in while he once again takes over Kevin’s life.

Before he died, Ryan was once able to successfully take over Kevin’s life and practice, If Ryan is now an alternate personality inside Kevin’s psyche, would he still be in love with Ava Jerome (Maura West).

Would Ryan’s appetite for killing completely override any morals or ethics Kevin has? Is something really wrong with Kevin or has he just gotten tired of Laura’s trips out of tow,
