GH Spoilers: Gregory Faces Blowback When Chase Hears His Dad’s Diagnosis From Someone Else

General Hospital (GH) spoilers report Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) has the very best of intentions by keeping his youngest son, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), in the dark about his diagnosis.

It broke Gregory’s heart to tell Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) the truth — a decision he only made at the moment because he was forced to explain his behavior. If it wasn’t for that incident in front of Violet Finn (Jophielle Love), Finn probably still wouldn’t know.

Initially, he seemed to align himself with Chase, but the longer they keep this secret from his little brother, the more he seems to act like it’s some sort of gift he’s helping to bestow upon him.

When Chase learns of what’s up with his dad from someone other than his own family, he’s not likely to see it as a Christmas present.

Gregory must not have thought his plans through very clearly when he went to Chase’s apartment with plans to tell him the truth.

Finding him there with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) — celebrating moving in together — left him discouraged and backpedaling. Not wanting to ruin their happy moment, he kept his diagnosis to himself.

He forgot to fill Finn in and it could’ve been disastrous if his eldest son didn’t know how to hold his tongue and read a room.

GH Spoilers Hint – Gregory Chase Is None The Wiser

While Gregory decided not to tell Chase that day, he’s had time to since then and hasn’t ventured in his son’s direction.

Remaining in the dark, Chase has no idea his days with his dad are numbered. As of late, Chase has shown us just how understanding he can be, given how many times he has forgiven Brook Lynn for her repeated mistakes.

Is he honestly going to be able to overlook feeling so slighted by his family and like he was the last to know?

Chase isn’t going to take kindly to finding out about his father’s condition so much later than his big brother did. But that won’t be what really burns his biscuits.

Rather, Chase will hate that he isn’t going to hear the truth from his dad or his brother. But that leaves us to wonder just who might clue him in — and if it’ll be against Gregory’s wishes and best interests.

Will Chase see through an outsider’s sinister agenda to tear him apart from his family?
