GH Spoilers: Gladys Isn’t a Just A Gambler — She’s A Narcissist

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) has more problems than she can comfortably handle, and the truth is about to come out. Not only has Gladys been gambling her problems away, but she’s been doing it with Sasha Gilmore Corbin’s (Sofia Mattson) money.

Gladys has been enjoying her role as Sasha’s legal guardian and gatekeeper of her finances just a bit too much, and now she’s had to pay for her losses with Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) garage. When Sasha finds out why that deal with Selina Wu (Lydia Look) really happened, she’s going to be furious.

When Sasha finds out that Gladys has been gambling her fortune away out from under her, she will probably be quite upset. However, it’s not going to take long for Sasha to recognize the signs of trouble she sees in Gladys.

The secrecy, the stealing, the betrayal, the compulsive nature of gambling guiding her to play just one more game, and the thrill of the chance to win and clean up the mess she’s made without Sasha ever having to know, to boot! Sasha is all too familiar with addiction, and she won’t hesitate to lay diagnose Gladys with a similar affliction.

Of course, convincing Gladys she is a gambling addict won’t come easy. Sasha may need some reinforcement, like Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) on board.

GH Spoilers – Hint The Judge Won’t Be So Kind

Sasha may be willing to overlook her mother-in-law’s expensive indiscretion, but that doesn’t mean the judge presiding over Sasha’s case will feel that way. They’re headed back to court soon to determine whether Sasha is competent and stable enough to be in charge of her own finances, and Sasha won’t take kindly to Gladys implying she isn’t.

However, Sasha is emotionally attached to Gladys and wants whatever is best for her, but the judge is only going to take into account that they have Gladys a legal responsibility and she used it as a weapon against Sasha to harm her.

That may not have been her intention, but it is what she did. The judge could very well order Gladys to pay restitution to Sasha, which may take the rest of her life to accomplish.

Sasha is going to regain control of her money and her life, and Gladys just might be left flailing in the wind as her daughter-in-law slowly starts to move on. It’s been a rough year for Sasha, but she has learned how to grieve in a healthy way and say goodbye to Brando.

She knows she can’t just live with the ghost of him forever and must open her heart to love again. So, who will she choose to share it with? Possibly Cody Bell (Josh Swickard) or Harrison Chase (Josh Kelly)? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out.
