GH Spoilers: Gladys Is Up To No Good, And Cody Knows It

General Hospital spoilers tease that Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) just can’t shake her interest in gambling Sasha Gilmore Corbin’s (Sofia Mattson) fortune away. It’s not that Gladys actually wants to hurt Sasha, but she does want to keep giving herself distraction after distraction to avoid coping with the loss of her son, Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor), and his son, Liam Mike.

Sure, Sasha is arguably coping with the same loss and she’s not taking anyone else down with her — this time. However, Gladys has never had control of so much money, and it’s given her access to the taste of a lifestyle she’s always longed for but been shut out of.

When she dips back into the world of Selina Wu’s (Lydia Look) poker games, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) is going to take note. Will he try to talk her out of digging herself another hole?

General Hospital spoilers show Selina had Gladys’ number a long time ago. She knows Gladys just wants to feel like she’s a part of the inner circle and upper crust of Port Charles. She likes feeling as though she is in the know and has influential friends who see her as one of their peers.

Gladys has never quite felt like she measured up to everyone else, even working at Deception. She was an assistant, never a partner. Among her family members, she has always been the loose cannon who wasn’t taken seriously.

Clearing her debts with Selina was a huge relief to Gladys, but she almost got off too easy. Now, Selina is baiting the hook again and Gladys is proving she’s not strong enough to resist temptation.

When Cody sees Gladys back at The Savoy getting ready to get her game on, he’s going to be shocked. Selina isn’t the type of woman anyone calls into question, but it’s going to be hard for Cody to ignore the obvious elephant in the room.

Why would Selina invite her back to play if she knows Gladys isn’t able to pay up when she loses? Is there a more sinister target at play here? Could she be the person targeting Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and taking down his family is just one way to do it?
