GH Spoilers: Gladys Has Lost Sasha’s Fortune — She Needs Money, And Sonny

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) may soon be running to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) in hopes that her cousin will bail her out of the mess she’s made for herself. Getting mixed up with Selina Wu (Lydia Look) was a bad idea, and Sonny could have told her that.

But Gladys is always looking for the come-up and wanting to fit in with elite circles in society that she’s felt cast aside from for so long. Selina saw that and preyed on it knowing Gladys had access to Sasha Gilmore Corbin’s (Sofia Mattson) fortune, and now it may be too late for both Sasha’s money — and Gladys — to bounce back from it.

Gladys has yet to reveal just how much money she owes Selina, but it’s likely more than she has to offer. Although Sasha is a wealthy woman now being part owner in and the face of Deception, she’s not in control of her own wealth at the moment. Gladys is.

As her court-appointed legal guardian, Gladys is supposed to be making financial decisions for Sasha that protect her investments and income, not squandering her money away on a whim during poker games with organized crime bosses. Will it take reaching out to the only other mobster she knows to help her get out of this?

GH Spoilers – Hint Selina Wu Will Make Her Pay, One Way Or Another

Selina has the means to enforce payback from Gladys, even if it’s not monetarily. Gladys might not have the funds to back the bets she’s made, or she may have already paid up but she’s got a mountain of debt now and no way to cover the money she’s withdrawn from Sasha’s accounts.

Sasha’s legal guardianship is due to expire soon and when Gladys is no longer in control of her finances, Sasha will have access to all of her accounts again. How will Gladys explain the losses? Will Selina show her any mercy if she can’t pay up? How is she going to choose between disappointing Selina or betraying Sasha?

General Hospital Spoilers — Can Sonny Corinthos  Help? Will He?

Sonny could probably help Gladys in both departments, but it won’t be an easy ask, and Sonny certainly isn’t going to cover for Gladys as she steals away Sasha’s fortune. Sonny would demand that Gladys tell Sasha the truth, or he will. So it might be Gladys’ hope that Sonny will cover for her with Selina instead of covering her costs with Sasha.
