GH Spoilers: Gladys Corbin’s Vengeful Return Has Sonny Corinthos Wishing He Did More

General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate that Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) got off way too easily for her involvement in jeopardizing Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) mental health.

She faced a very tense conversation with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), and after the fact, she was banished to Bridgeport without a dime to her name, leaving her with no money, but also no prison time for her fraud.

General Hospital Spoilers – Gladys Corbin Will Stew Over What’s Happened

GH spoilers suggest that Gladys is officially out of the Port Charles picture; however, fans know all too well that villains like her have a way of resurfacing.

She was 100 percent in the wrong over everything she had done. She had a gambling problem, which was likely triggered by her son and grandson’s death, but she should have reached out to Sonny first, before trying to solve everything on her own.

She used her guardianship over Sasha’s affairs to pay off her gambling debts, but she also used that money to spoil herself with expensive clothes, spa days, and other luxuries.

Still, Gladys will believe she’s a victim in all of this once she’s on her own. There was once a time that she worked hard to protect Sasha, and she’ll resent the fact that neither Ms. Gilmore nor Sonny didn’t remember those days before she was ousted out of town.

This will have her contemplating ways to get back at the both of them, and Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) can be added to that list.

GH Spoilers – Gladys Corbin Returns To Town With Revenge On Her Mind

Might not be this week, next week, or even next month, but Gladys will return to Port Charles at some point. Sonny should’ve turned her in to the police, but he’s always been a softy where family is concerned.

As she wasn’t sent to prison or axed (like she was worried about), Gladys will wait in the wings for an opportunity to strike back. Characters like Ms. Corbin can fall, but they are never out of the game.

While she is penniless, she will probably build herself in the weeks ahead and come back to the little town, stronger than ever.

She may even align herself with another mob boss from the past, to bring Sonny, and Sasha to their knees. Whether or not she’ll succeed is one thing, but this isn’t the last fans have seen of Gladys Corbin.
