General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Friday, September 8 tease confrontations, confessions and contradictions.

Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) confronts someone, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) makes a confession and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) contradicts Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) intentions.

General Hospital Spoilers Highlights

Eddie Maine (Wally Kurth) is in his element as he is excited standing in a hall with gold records on the walls.

He’s ready with his guitar as Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) stands by, smiling at Leo Quartermaine (Easton Rocket Sweda) who’s just as excited. Eddie looks down at Leo and asks him if he’s ready to make some music-Leo responds with an excited “yeah”!

It looks like Eddie and Leo are going to make some music together in a music venue or perhaps a recording studio. Leo is very excited at the prospect.

GH Spoilers – Confrontations

At Ferncliff, Dr. Damon Montague (Darin Toonder) has walked in on Cody as he was getting ready to walk Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) out the door and into freedom.

Cody seems to be answering Montague before he even asks a question, confronting him, saying he knows exactly what’s going on. Sasha may not realize it’s the doctor who’s drugging her even though she accused him of it before.

Right before he walked into her room he called someone for a drug that would cause total and irreversible amnesia. Cody looks like he’s ready to tackle the demon doctor before he has a chance to call for backup!

General Hospital Spoilers – Confessions

Dex feels guilty as he opens up to Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), confessing to her. He can’t believe he was so careless when it came to Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) freedom!

He realizes that disposing of the video he made on his phone of Sonny setting up a deal with Pikeman in a public trash can may be what caused his arrest.

Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) had made a very good point-even if it’s been several months ago.

It could have taken the FBI’s cyber forensics unit that long to pull anything usable off the flash drive. That could account for the time between his throwing it away and Sonny’s arrest.

GH Spoilers – Contradictions

Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will find herself apologizing after Portia seems to contradict the reason for her visit. Portia asks Anna if she really thinks it’s a good idea to come to the Robinson-Ashford house.

Anna likely wants to talk to Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) since she hasn’t had a chance to talk to him since he caught a bullet likely intended for her.

She could also want to know if Curtis knows anything about Pikeman and to give him updates on what’s been found on the Metro Court shooting case.

Portia tends to be very overprotective of Curtis and probably thinks Anna talking to him might upset him.

General Hospital Spoilers – Curtis Ashford Might Disagree

However, Curtis himself might disagree as Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) looks at him like he has his doubts.

Curtis, on the other hand, says to him “you guys gotta quit doing this”, “this” likely being their overprotection and babying him. Curtis is in the middle of the living room in a wheelchair, and he might want to talk to Anna and others about what happened.

Curtis might indeed want updates on the case and doesn’t want his visitors screened. He may be a club owner now but that doesn’t mean his old detective instincts aren’t intact.

GH Spoilers – Ava Jerome Gives Nina Reeves Advice

At the Metro Court, Ava Jerome (Maura West) gives Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) some advice.

Likely, it’s advice that she tried to get from Carly Spencer (Laura Wright). She’d asked her about how to deal with Sonny’s situation and was frantic while doing so.

Ava tells Nina she needs her to face reality-that’s how being married to a mobster might be, saying they even get to the wedding considering his charges.

Sometimes appearing weak will only make things worse and Nina needs to be strong; is she up for the challenge?

General Hospital Spoilers – Dangerous Doctor

Dangerous Dr. Montague responds to seeing Cody and Sasha together in her room, and asks what the hell is going on in here?

Sasha hopes it’s her freedom coming and Cody wants to make sure it happens. Cody knows Montague has been drugging Sasha and not someone else inside Ferncliff.

This could turn ugly for Cody and Montague, and even worse for Sasha, putting her in more danger and Cody as well. Of course Cody and Montague know each other from Selina Wu’s (Lydia Look) backroom poker game!
